Quick Answer Samebike is the e-bike brand of Guangzhou Sameway Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd., which owns the US SAMEBIKE trademark, and we sell ten of its bikes at Samebike's own US prices, from the $599 CY20 Pro folders to the $1,599 STORM and CREST, all shipped free. No CPSC recall named Samebike on September 26, 2026.

Five of the ten fold. The RS-A08 II, STORM and CREST ride on 26 × 4.0 tires without a fold, and the M20 and M20-III put a long bench seat on 20 × 4.0 tires. Which Samebike fits you matches each one to a rider and a ride.

Which Samebike fits you

Start with the job the bike has to do: the ten we carry come in three kinds, and the right one follows from how you will store it and where you will ride.

  • A bike that folds (five models): the two CY20 Pros, the LO26 Plus and the two RS-A02s each fold at a hinge in the frame, for a trunk, a closet or a train. On the CY20 Pro and the RS-A02 Pro the stem drops the handlebar too.
  • A fat-tire bike that stays full size (three): the RS-A08 II, STORM and CREST roll on 26 × 4.0 tires.
  • A long bench seat on 20 × 4.0 tires (two): the M20 and the M20-III.

Every price below matches Samebike's own US store on September 26, 2026, and the higher figure beside it is Samebike's regular price for that color. The short way to choose:

Samebike CY20 Pro (Solid Wheel)

$599 · maker's list $899

The $599 CY20 Pro is the Samebike to measure first if you stand about 5'2" to 5'8". On the seat post Samebike draws, our CY20 Pro review finds the standard saddle height within reach of 99 riders in 100 at 5'4" and 96 at 5'8"; Samebike's own charts recommend it from 4'9" in one image and from 150 cm on its drawing.

By Samebike's table, it folds on cast five-spoke 20 × 3.0 wheels, runs a 500 W rear hub with an 800 W peak on a 36 V 13 Ah pack, and weighs 31 kg (68.3 lb). For a 180 lb rider holding 15 mph on the throttle over level pavement, our review computes about 29 miles; White and Navy cost the same as the Black the button adds.

Samebike CY20 Pro (Spoked Wheel)

$599 · maker's list $899 in Black

The Spoked Wheel costs the same $599 as the Solid Wheel and carries more battery: Samebike's specification list gives it a 48 V 13 Ah pack, 624 Wh, where the Solid Wheel's is 36 V 13 Ah, 468 Wh. The motor is the same 500 W hub with an 800 W peak, and Samebike lists both at 31 kg.

Choose it over the Solid Wheel when range matters more than the cast wheels: its review computes 39 miles at 15 mph on the throttle for a 180 lb rider on level pavement, against 29 for the Solid Wheel. Samebike shows a $899 regular price for the Black one and none for the White one; each costs $599 here.

Samebike LO26 Plus

Samebike RS-A02 Plus

$1,199 · maker's list $1,699

Samebike CREST

$1,599 · maker's list $1,999

The CREST is the step-through of the big three: by Samebike's table, a 1000 W motor with an 1800 W peak, a 48 V 20 Ah pack of 960 Wh, hydraulic discs and 26 × 4.0 tires on a frame you step into rather than swing a leg over. Samebike lists it at 45 kg (99.2 lb) with a 150 kg (330 lb) load, and its manual keeps the rider to 120 kg (265 lb).

Its review measures the frame's lowest edge at 19.4 inches on Samebike's drawing and computes 54 miles at 15 mph on the throttle for a 180 lb rider on level pavement.

It does not fold. Choose it over the STORM when stepping over a bar is the hard part; Black, White and Navy are each $1,599.

Samebike's US specification tables, read September 26, 2026. Battery watt-hours are the table's volts multiplied by its amp-hours. The mechanical discs are the CY20 Pros' and the RS-A02 Pro's; the RS-A02 Pro's description says hydraulic.

Plan on 330 lb (150 kg) of rider and cargo on eight of the ten, and a rider of 265 lb or less on the STORM and CREST. Seven specification tables print the 150 kg load, the STORM's and CREST's among them, and 330 lb is also the figure on Samebike's compare page for the RS-A08 II, its size-and-fit image for the M20 and its manual for the M20-III; Limitations lists the other figure those three tables print.

The STORM manual and the CREST manual each list, among the riders Samebike advises against, "People whose weight exceeds the max load limit (max load is 120KG/265lb)". The manuals of the other eight models print a 330 lb (150 kg) maximum load and no separate rider figure.

What we counted. Of the ten, the LO26 Plus is the lightest at 30.5 kg and the M20 and M20-III the heaviest at 58 kg on Samebike's tables; seven of the ten stop on hydraulic discs by their tables, and three carry 900 Wh or more: the M20-III at 1,728 Wh and the CREST and STORM at 960.

Every Samebike here ships free in the lower 48, and every warranty claim comes to us first. Send us your height, inseam and the ride you have in mind at support@redtailebikes.com, and we will name the two that fit before you pay.

How far each Samebike goes on a charge

One division reads all ten of Samebike's range figures the same way. Divide each pack's watt-hours by Samebike's longest range figure, and the result is the energy each mile may use at that figure; the lower the number, the lighter the riding it allows for.

Model Pack Samebike's longest range figure Wh a mile it allows
CY20 Pro (Solid Wheel) 468 Wh 90 km (56 mi) 8.4
CY20 Pro (Spoked Wheel) 624 Wh 100 km (62 mi) 10.0
LO26 Plus 720 Wh 110 km (68 mi) 10.5
RS-A02 Pro 720 Wh 110 km (68 mi) 10.5
RS-A02 Plus 816 Wh 130 km (81 mi) 10.1
RS-A08 II 816 Wh 130 km (81 mi) 10.1
M20 864 Wh 140 km (87 mi) 9.9
M20-III 1,728 Wh 240 km (149 mi) 11.6
CREST 960 Wh 160 km (99 mi) 9.7
STORM 960 Wh 160 km (99 mi) 9.7

Each model's specification table, read September 26, 2026; the RS-A02 Plus and RS-A08 II tables label theirs "Pas 1 Mode (Max) Range", the RS-A02 Pro's reads "55-110KM". Watt-hours divided by miles is our arithmetic.

For the ten bikes we have reviewed, the range model in each review turns Samebike's figures into a steady ride on level pavement for a 180 lb rider:

Bike 15 mph on the throttle 15 mph, easy pedaling Plan on, 75% of the throttle figure
CY20 Pro 29 miles 46 miles 21 miles
CY20 Pro Spoked Wheel 39 miles 61 miles 29 miles
LO26 Plus 43 miles 66 miles 32 miles
RS-A02 Pro 43 miles 65 miles 32 miles
RS-A02 Plus 48 miles 73 miles 36 miles
RS-A08 II 48 miles 74 miles 36 miles
M20 47 miles 69 miles 35 miles
M20-III 89 miles 127 miles 67 miles
STORM 54 miles 83 miles 41 miles
CREST 54 miles 83 miles 41 miles

Computed in each review from published physics and Samebike's figures, a 180 lb rider on level pavement with no wind; the 75% reserve follows one measured pedelec that used 75% of its pack in a standard laboratory test (Schmitt, Decker and Doppelbauer, 2019).

Hills, headwinds, cold air and a heavier rider all cut these numbers, and each review prices those in its own tables.

Hold back a quarter of whatever range you plan on. On the ten reviewed bikes, a 180 lb rider holding 15 mph on the throttle over level pavement gets 29 to 89 miles, and the 75% planning figure is 21 to 67.

Tell us your distance, your climbing and your usual speed, and we will run the ride for any of the ten before you order. Email support@redtailebikes.com; the reply comes back in miles, with the pack size that covers it.

Which frame fits your height

Samebike's charts give the heights it recommends, and our reviews add how many riders at each height reach the standard saddle height on the seat post Samebike draws. The standard is the saddle top at 109% of inseam above the pedal axle (Peveler et al., 2005), and the bodies are the 6,068 soldiers of the US Army's 2012 anthropometric survey.

Height CY20 Pro LO26 Plus RS-A02 Pro RS-A02 Plus

Riders of 100 at each height whose 109% saddle height falls inside the drawn seat post's travel, from each review's fit model; Samebike's recommended heights as printed on its charts and drawings, read September 26 and 27, 2026. The RS-A02 Plus is drawn with a lower top seat setting than Samebike lists, and its review also runs the listed range, which reaches 94 of 100 riders at 6'0".

The RS-A08 II, reviewed since, reaches that height for 19 of 100 riders at 5'4", 85 at 5'8" and 23 at 6'0" on the post Samebike draws, against its chart's 5'3"–6'3" (its review also runs the listed seat range).

The M20-III seats you on a fixed bench, so its review measures the stop instead: seated, 85 of 100 riders at 5'8" put both feet flat on the ground and 47 at 5'6", against its chart's 5'6"–7'2".

The M20's bench is fixed as well: seated on it, 72 of 100 riders at 5'8" and 30 at 5'6" reach the ground flat-footed (its review), and its chart gives the same 5'6"–7'2".

The STORM, reviewed since, puts the standard saddle height within reach of 91 of 100 riders at 5'8" and 91 at 6'0" on the post Samebike draws, and 67 of 100 riders at 5'8" clear its top tube at the listed 32.3 inches (its review), against 168–210 cm on its drawing and 6'6"–7'9" on gallery image 16.

The CREST drops the top tube altogether: its frame's lowest edge stands 19.4 inches up on Samebike's drawing, cleared at every height from 5'0" (its review), and its post reaches the standard saddle height for 89 of 100 riders at 5'8" and 92 at 6'0", beside the 6'6"–7'9" its drawing prints.

The CY20 Pro Spoked Wheel is the same frame on spoked wheels, and its review, measured on the same photograph, finds the same shares as the CY20 Pro column; its frame's lowest edge stands 15.2 inches up, so the shortest-legged rider in twenty at 4'11" steps through with 11.6 inches to spare.

Read your own row, then take your inseam in socks against a wall before you choose: at 5'8", the middle 90 of every 100 riders in the Army's survey run from 31.1 to 34.3 inches of inseam.

Between 5'2" and 5'8", the $599 CY20 Pro is the frame to check first; from 5'6" to 6'0", the RS-A02 Pro and LO26 Plus. Each review's saddle and standover tables list riders by height, so you can read your own row.

Watts, top speed and a throttle: what the law reads

Whether a Samebike counts as an e-bike where you ride is decided by your state's definition, and those definitions read three figures: the motor's watts, the top speed and whether a throttle moves the bike with no pedaling. Samebike publishes the first two for all ten:

Model Rated and peak watts Top speed on Samebike's table
CY20 Pro, both wheels 500 W, 800 W peak 32 km/h (19.9 mph)
LO26 Plus 1000 W, 1500 W peak 40 km/h (24.9 mph)
RS-A02 Pro 1000 W, 1500 W peak 40 km/h (24.9 mph)
RS-A02 Plus 1200 W, 1800 W peak 45 km/h (28.0 mph)
RS-A08 II 1000 W, 1500 W peak 45 km/h (28.0 mph)
M20 1200 W, 1800 W peak 50 km/h (31.1 mph)
M20-III 2000 W, 3000 W peak 50 km/h (31.1 mph) on its stat strip and motor panel
CREST 1000 W, 1800 W peak 50 km/h (31.1 mph)
STORM 1000 W, 1800 W peak 50 km/h (31.1 mph)

Each model's US specification table, read September 26, 2026; the M20-III's figure is read from its stat strip and motor panel, and Limitations lists its table's and its review's two manuals'.

At the federal level, 15 U.S.C. § 2085(b) defines a low-speed electric bicycle as "a two- or three-wheeled vehicle with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of less than 750 watts (1 h.p.), whose maximum speed on a paved level surface, when powered solely by such a motor while ridden by an operator who weighs 170 pounds, is less than 20 mph."

States write their own definitions, and our 50-state e-bike law atlas prints each one.

On federal land the rules can carry a penalty. In a National Forest, 36 CFR 261.2 defines a motor vehicle as "any vehicle which is self-propelled", apart from rail vehicles and mobility devices, and 36 CFR 261.13 prohibits operating one on National Forest System lands "other than in accordance with those designations" on the motor vehicle use map.

36 CFR 261.1b sets the punishment for breaking a Part 261 prohibition at "imprisonment of not more than six months or a fine in accordance with the applicable provisions of 18 U.S.C. 3571 or both."

Before a trail ride, find that forest's motor vehicle use map (36 CFR 261.13) or the managing agency's posted rule; our public-land guide walks through each federal agency's.

Your state's definition decides what a Samebike counts as where you ride. Samebike publishes the watts and the top speed of each of the ten; check them against your state's page in our atlas and the rules posted on the paths you plan to use.

Send us your state and the paths you ride, and we will read the definition with you and name the Samebikes whose published figures fit it. Write to support@redtailebikes.com before you order.

Who makes Samebike

The SAMEBIKE trademark in the United States belongs to Guangzhou Sameway Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd. The USPTO's record for registration 8,269,887 lists the mark as live, registered May 26, 2026, for goods including "Electric bicycles; Folding electric bicycles", with first use in US commerce on May 18, 2018, and names the owner at No. 1 factory, Xiling, Huashan Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou.

The same Huadu District address is printed as the maker's in the RS-A02 Pro user manual. Samebike's about page gives its own account of the company:

  • "Guangzhou Sameway Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd. is established in 2004", and is "located in the Huadu District of Guangzhou City".
  • Its China factory "has a scale of more than 9,000 square meters", with an "annual production capacity of 80,000 units".
  • The company lists certifications including ISO9001, US FCC, Australian SAA, Japanese PSE, Korean KC, Argentine IRAM and Chinese CCC.
  • It lists overseas warehouses, one of them in the USA.

Samebike's story page tells the founding in its own words: "David, our company's founder", a family garage, and a business that "by now" has "city commuter bikes, mountain electric bikes, folding electric bikes, and fat tire e-bikes".

Samebike runs more than one store. This page reads us.samebike.com, Samebike's US store; samebike.com is its European store, and a model can carry different figures there, as the RS-A02 Pro's European page does with 250 W and 25 km/h. The prices, specifications and policies on this page are the US store's, and our list of e-bike brands counts Samebike among the brands we carry.

Samebike's safety record

No recall and no consumer warning named Samebike on September 26, 2026. The Consumer Product Safety Commission's recall database was searched in its title, product-name and manufacturer fields for five names, Samebike, Same bike, Samebikes, Sameway and Guangzhou Sameway, with none found; the same searches found recalls for Trek, Specialized and Ancheer.

Every field of 623 bicycle, e-bike, battery and scooter recalls was then read for the brand and each of the ten model names; the words "crest" and "storm" turn up only in recalls of other makers' bicycles, from Norco, Columbia and Huffy.

The CPSC's site search, which carries its consumer warnings, returned no result for Samebike or Sameway that day, while the same search found the warnings the CPSC has issued about another e-bike brand.

Certification marks, and how to get the certificate. Samebike's studio photographs of the CY20 Pro, the CY20 Pro Spoked Wheel and the STORM carry a TÜV SÜD mark with "UL 2849" printed beneath it; UL 2849 is the standard UL Solutions uses to certify an e-bike's "electrical drive train, battery, and charger system combinations".

The certification mark on the last page of the RS-A02 Pro manual reads "EPAC EN 15194". If a landlord, building or insurer asks for a certificate number, email us the model and we will request it from Samebike in writing before the bike ships.

Clean in both federal records on September 26, 2026, with marks you can ask us to document. The recall and warning searches, the names used and the controls that proved the searches worked are all above.

Warranty, delivery and returns

If a Samebike from us develops a fault, the claim starts with us. Send photos or a video of the fault with your order number, and we open the claim with Samebike and coordinate the repair or replacement, as our refund policy sets out.

Samebike's warranty policy reads: "Frame warranty for 3 years, batteries, motors and other accessories warranty for 1 year." After the first year, a battery earns "a prorated credit, based on months of service," toward a new one, and the policy lists brake pads, rotors, spokes, tires and tubes, chains, chain rings, cassettes and the crankset among the parts not typically covered.

What you get The detail
Delivery Free within the contiguous United States; orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and most e-bikes arrive 5–10 business days later, with tracking emailed at dispatch
Damage in transit Note it with the carrier and email us photos within 48 hours of delivery, and we take the claim from there
Warranty claims We open them with Samebike and see the repair or replacement through
Alaska, Hawaii, territories and P.O. boxes Send your ZIP code before you order and we will confirm the route in writing
Paying over time Shop Pay at checkout: 4 interest-free installments on the $599 and $999 models, monthly plans at 15% APR above $1,000, each subject to an eligibility check

A change of mind follows the refund policy: the bike must be unopened in its factory-sealed packaging and the return requested within 72 hours of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping; a canceled order carries a 3% fee. We answer fit and route questions before you order for that reason.

Every one of the ten ships free, and a fault goes to our desk, not to you. Pick your model and color on its listing; the price there is Samebike's own US price.

Batteries, manuals and error codes

A replacement pack, a key or a part comes through us. Email your order number and the part, and we will confirm it fits your model before you buy it; the packs on the RS-A02 Pro and LO26 Plus come out once their key is turned, by Samebike's RS-A02 Pro and LO26 Plus manuals.

Samebike posts its user manuals on its US store's manuals page, among them the RS-A02 Pro manual; ask us for any model's and we will send it. Each covers assembly, folding where it applies, charging, the display and the checks before a ride.

When the display shows an error code, the manuals define it. Two code sets appear, one in the RS-A02 Pro manual and one in the STORM and CREST manuals:

Code RS-A02 Pro manual STORM and CREST manuals
E001 / E01 Controller failure Controller fault
E002 / E02 Communication failure Communication fault
E003 / E03 Motor Hall signal anomaly Hall fault
E004 / E04 Handlebar failure Throttle fault
E005 / E05 Brake failure Brake lever fault
E006 / E06 Motor phase loss Battery under voltage
E31 — Power button sticking
E34 — Boost button sticking

Table 1 of the RS-A02 Pro user manual (codes E001–E006) and Appendix 1 of the STORM and CREST manuals (E01–E06, E31, E34), read September 26, 2026. A dash marks a code that manual's table does not list.

The RS-A02 Pro manual says that after a fault "the electric bike will not run normally", and the STORM manual that the bike "will not be able to continue driving" until the fault clears. Photograph the display with the code showing and email it with your order number; that one message is enough to start a claim.

The honest ledger

On September 26, 2026, our price on each of the ten matched Samebike's own US store, and no CPSC recall or warning named Samebike. Five of the frames fold and seven stop on hydraulic discs. The table below is about fit: five kinds of rider who should read another page before choosing, and the page for each.

Four checks before you order a Samebike

Who holds the SAMEBIKE trademark

Open the USPTO's status page for serial 99359645: the owner field names Guangzhou Sameway Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd., the status reads registered, and the address is the one printed in the manuals.

The recall and warning record

Search saferproducts.gov and the CPSC's site search for Samebike and Sameway on the day you buy; both returned nothing on September 26, 2026.

Which model's figures you are reading

Match the model and the store to every figure. The RS-A02 name covers the US RS-A02 Pro at 1000 W, the US RS-A02 Plus at 1200 W, and a European RS-A02 Pro at 250 W; a figure quoted without both can belong to any of the three.

Read your state's definition in our 50-state atlas beside the watts and top speed in the table above, then the rules posted on the paths you ride.

Frequently asked questions

Is Samebike a good brand?

It depends on the model and the rider, so match the job first. Samebike's US lineup runs from a $599 folder to a 1,728 Wh bike with a bench seat, the SAMEBIKE mark is registered to its maker at the USPTO, and no CPSC recall or warning named Samebike on September 26, 2026. Which Samebike fits you pairs each model with a rider.

Is Samebike legit?

Yes, by the public records: the USPTO lists the SAMEBIKE mark as registered to Guangzhou Sameway Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd., with first US use in 2018, and the same company's address is printed in Samebike's manuals. We sell ten of its bikes at the prices on Samebike's own US store, and warranty claims come through us.

Where is Samebike made?

Samebike's about page places the company and its factory in the Huadu District of Guangzhou, China, and the USPTO record and the manuals give the same district for the maker. The about page also lists overseas warehouses, one of them in the USA.

Is Samebike a Chinese company?

Yes. The USPTO record lists the owner as a limited company organized in China, and Samebike's about page describes its factory in Guangzhou.

How much does a Samebike weigh?

From 30.5 kg (67.2 lb) for the LO26 Plus to 58 kg (127.9 lb) for the M20 and M20-III, on Samebike's specification tables. For the M20 and M20-III, Samebike prints lighter figures elsewhere, and Limitations lists them; plan a lift on the table's figure.

What is the weight limit on a Samebike?

Plan on 150 kg (330 lb) of rider and cargo, and on the STORM and CREST keep the rider to 120 kg (265 lb), the limit in their manuals' safety precautions. Seven of the ten specification tables print 150 kg, and the RS-A08 II, M20 and M20-III tables print 180 kg, while another Samebike document for each of those three, such as the compare page for the RS-A08 II, prints 330 lb.

How fast does a Samebike go?

Samebike's specification tables give 32 km/h (19.9 mph) for the CY20 Pros, 40 km/h (24.9 mph) for the LO26 Plus and RS-A02 Pro, 45 km/h (28.0 mph) for the RS-A02 Plus and RS-A08 II, and 50 km/h (31.1 mph) for the M20, CREST and STORM.

The M20-III's stat strip and motor panel print 50 km/h, and its two manuals 60 km/h and 37 mph. The law section explains why those figures matter where you ride.

How far can a Samebike go on one charge?

Samebike's longest figures run from 90 km (56 miles) for the CY20 Pro to 240 km (149 miles) for the M20-III.

For a 180 lb rider holding 15 mph on the throttle over level pavement, our reviews compute about 29 miles for the CY20 Pro, 39 for the CY20 Pro Spoked Wheel, 43 for the LO26 Plus and RS-A02 Pro, 48 for the RS-A02 Plus and RS-A08 II, 47 for the M20, 54 for the STORM and the CREST, and 89 for the M20-III.

What is the Samebike warranty?

Samebike's warranty policy reads: "Frame warranty for 3 years, batteries, motors and other accessories warranty for 1 year." Buy from us and a claim starts with our desk: photos or a video and your order number, and we open it with Samebike.

How do I replace a Samebike battery?

Email us your model and order number, and we will confirm the right pack before you buy it. Samebike's warranty policy covers batteries for 1 year and then applies "a prorated credit, based on months of service," toward a new one.

What do Samebike error codes mean?

The manuals define them: on the RS-A02 Pro, E001 is a controller failure through E006, motor phase loss; on the STORM and CREST, E01 to E06 run from a controller fault to low battery voltage, with E31 and E34 for a stuck power or boost button. The error-code table lists every code.

Where can I find a Samebike manual?

Samebike posts them on its US store's manuals page, the RS-A02 Pro's among them. Ask us for any model's and we will send the file.

Do all Samebikes fold?

No, five of the ten do: the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel and Spoked Wheel, the LO26 Plus, the RS-A02 Pro and the RS-A02 Plus. The RS-A08 II, M20, M20-III, CREST and STORM do not.

Is Samebike UL 2849 certified?

Samebike's studio photographs of the CY20 Pro, the CY20 Pro Spoked Wheel and the STORM carry a TÜV SÜD mark reading "UL 2849". Email us the model, and we will ask Samebike in writing for the certificate number before the bike ships.

Can I pay for a Samebike in installments?

Yes, through Shop Pay: 4 interest-free installments on the $599 and $999 models, and for the $1,199 RS-A02 Plus, as one example, 12 monthly payments of $108.22 at 15% APR. Each plan is read from the bike's listing and is subject to an eligibility check through Affirm's lending partners.

Which Samebike is best for a tall rider?

On the seat posts Samebike draws, our reviews find the RS-A02 Pro's standard saddle height within reach of 85 riders in 100 at 6'0" and the LO26 Plus's of 56. Above 6'0", email us your inseam and we will check the other eight against Samebike's drawings.

The bottom line

Samebike, the brand of Guangzhou Sameway Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd., makes the three kinds of e-bike we carry: five folders from $599 to $1,199, three full-size 26 × 4.0 fat-tire bikes from $1,399 to $1,599, and two bench-seat bikes at $999 and $1,499. All ten are at Samebike's own US prices, shipped free, with warranty claims handled by us.

Choose by the job. Shorter riders and small trunks start with the $599 CY20 Pro; a 4-inch-tire folder is the RS-A02 Pro or, with hydraulic brakes, the RS-A02 Plus; full suspension is the RS-A08 II; and the most battery is the M20-III.

For the other makers we sell, our e-bike reviews hub sets out our reviews by style, rider and price.

Or start with the RS-A02 Pro, a 4-inch-tire folder with a coil rear shock, $999 in any of four colors. Shop Pay spreads it over 4 interest-free installments, subject to an eligibility check, and it ships free in the lower 48.

Limitations

This page reads Samebike's US store, its manuals and the federal record as they stood on September 26, 2026. The nine notes below say what we sell, what that reading covers and leaves out, which figure we plan on where a model carries more than one, and how to confirm the right one for your bike.

  1. Redtail sells all ten of these bikes. The picks and routes on this page point to our own listings.
  2. The figures are Samebike's. Prices, specifications and policies were read on September 26, 2026 from Samebike's US store; any of them can change.
  3. Where Samebike prints two figures, this page plans on one. M20 weight: 58 kg on the specification table, "110.2 lbs (50kg)" for the bike and "127.8 lbs (58KG)" packaged in its manual, 94.7 lb on its size-and-fit drawing, 70.5 lb on its size chart. M20-III weight: 58 kg on the table, 94.7 lb on its size-and-fit drawing, "94 lbs (43kg)" in both manuals, 70.5 lb on its size image. Loads: 180 kg on the RS-A08 II, M20 and M20-III tables, 150 kg on the RS-A08 II's compare page and 330 lb on the M20's image and manual and the M20-III's manual and image; STORM and CREST: 150 kg (330 lb) on their tables and 120 kg (265 lb) for the rider in their manuals' safety precautions, and this page plans on the 265 lb rider figure. M20-III top speed: "5KM/H" on the table, 50 km/h on its stat strip and motor panel, 60 km/h and 37 mph in its two manuals. M20 top speed: 50 km/h on the table, 25 km/h in its manual. RS-A02 Pro brakes: mechanical on the table, hydraulic in the description. LO26 Plus top speed: 40 km/h on the table, 15.5 mph in the manual. RS-A02 Pro top speed: 40 km/h on the table, 25 km/h on one gallery image. Email us and we will ask Samebike which figure applies to the bike you order.
  4. Warranty wording differs between documents. The STORM and CREST manuals describe "product and labor warranty for 12 months"; the warranty policy page lists 3 years on the frame and 1 year on batteries, motors and other accessories. This page quotes the policy page.
  5. The certificate behind the UL 2849 mark was not retrieved. Two searches, TÜV SÜD's German certificate site (no connection) and its US certificate database (a bot check) all failed to return it; the mark is reported as Samebike's photographs show it.
  6. Range and fit are computed for all ten models. Each review builds its own range and fit model: the CY20 Pro, CY20 Pro Spoked Wheel, LO26 Plus, RS-A02 Pro, RS-A02 Plus, RS-A08 II, M20-III, M20, STORM and CREST.
  7. The watt-hours-per-mile column is arithmetic on Samebike's figures, not a measured consumption for any bike.
  8. The recall search covers the CPSC's US records under the five names listed; a recall filed under another company name would need that name searched.
  9. Stock and colors were read on September 26, 2026, and the M20 was in stock only in Peru that day.
