About Redtail eBikes: who is behind it

Redtail eBikes is run by Milad Ghobadibeygvand, who holds a nursing degree from Western University (author page). In April 2023 he started selling e-bikes out of his house in Waterloo, Ontario, with Zeus eBikes, the Canadian store he co-founded (founding statement, co-founder byline).

Riders there have left a public record: 170 published reviews averaging 4.85 out of 5 on Judge.me, 149 of them verified purchases, with a Gold Verified Reviews Shop medal (Judge.me store record, read September 26, 2026). Redtail is the American store built on that experience.

The same habits carry over. We check the specs we print against the maker's own pages, we look up recalls in the federal recall database, we film bikes we carry on real ground, and every guide on this site carries Milad's name.

Why the red-tailed hawk

The red-tailed hawk turns up everywhere, and so do the people who ride our bikes: commuters, trail riders, cargo haulers and trike riders. The Cornell Lab of Ornithology calls it "probably the most common hawk in North America" (All About Birds, read September 9, 2026).

It is also the bird Hollywood borrows for every eagle, which Cornell tells best.

The Red-tailed Hawk has a thrilling, raspy scream that sounds exactly like a raptor should sound. At least, that’s what Hollywood directors seem to think. Whenever a hawk or eagle appears onscreen, no matter what species, the shrill cry on the soundtrack is almost always a Red-tailed Hawk.

We like that story for a small American store. The REDTAIL name and the hawk emblem carry a pending federal trademark application, and our trademark notice explains how they may be used.

Zeus eBikes Inc. owns the store, and its Florida filing names one officer, Milad Ghobadibeygvand. He co-founded Zeus eBikes in Canada in 2023 and writes every guide on this site under his own name; his full record is on his author page.

Where is Redtail eBikes located?

Redtail is a U.S. company registered in Florida, and we sell online only, so there is no showroom to visit (contact page). Every e-bike ships free to any address in the lower 48, while Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and P.O. boxes may carry a charge or be excluded (shipping policy).

Does Redtail eBikes make its own bikes?

No. We are an independent retailer: every bike is built by one of the 16 brands we carry and covered by that maker's warranty (terms of service). When a bike needs a repair under warranty, we coordinate it with the maker for you (refund policy).

Can I return an electric bike if I change my mind?

Yes, within 72 hours of delivery if the box is unopened and factory-sealed, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping (refund policy). Once a box is opened or a bike is assembled or ridden, a change-of-mind return no longer applies, so check the rider height range on the listing before you order.

What happens if my e-bike arrives damaged?

Note the damage with the driver, photograph the box and the bike, and email support@redtailebikes.com within 48 hours of delivery. We file the carrier claim and arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you (refund policy); claims made more than 48 hours after delivery are not accepted (shipping policy).
