Our own Tiger RE has been ridden for our review, and the short answer is that you ride it on the throttle. The rider's verdict was "more moped than bicycle", with a warning that this is not an e-bike made for pedaling, and in the rider's own account the fat tires found grip on dirt, on gravel and, through a winter, on snow.
Speed is one of the first things buyers ask ("qiolor ebike top speed" is a live search suggestion), so here is what our ride measured. At assist level 5 of 5, 16 legible frames of the display read 32.5 to 49.2 km/h, which is 20.2 to 30.6 mph, every reading above 20 mph. The display was set to km/h by the rider, and the figures are the display's own, never checked against GPS.
Qiolor's own product pages describe the setting in one sentence: "All of our ebikes come out of the box as a Class II e-bike, equipped with pedal assist and throttle. The default maximum speed is set to 20 MPH, which can be adjusted according to user preferences." (Tiger RE page).

Every Qiolor range figure is a best-case pedal-assist number, and the maker says so under each one: "This mileage data is experimental data obtained when using pedal assist only under PAS 1." (Tiger JR page).
The same footnote lists what shortens it: "Factors that affect the range of e-bike include the weight of the rider, the level of pedal assist the rider uses, how much the rider uses the throttle, terrain, speed, weather conditions, towing weight, among others." (Tiger JR page).
Dividing each battery's energy by its rated miles shows how gentle those rides were, and gives you a number to plan with:

Energy is volts times amp-hours, and the figures are our arithmetic on Qiolor's published pack sizes. If you ride the way our rider did, on the throttle, plan on Qiolor's throttle-only figure, 40 miles for the JR and RL, and keep the pedal-assist figure for gentle days.
The RE's page publishes no throttle-only figure, and its 35 Ah pack is the one to buy if distance is the point.

Class 2, 750 W and the 20 mph setting
A Tiger leaves the box set as a Class 2 e-bike: a throttle and pedal assist, with the motor's help ending at 20 mph (Tiger RE page). Two published numbers decide how the law reads it, the motor's rated watts and that 20 mph, and the setting is the rider's to keep.
Both lines come from one federal sentence, 15 U.S.C. § 2085(b):
For the purpose of this section, the term "low-speed electric bicycle" means a two- or three-wheeled vehicle with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of less than 750 watts (1 h.p.), whose maximum speed on a paved level surface, when powered solely by such a motor while ridden by an operator who weighs 170 pounds, is less than 20 mph.
The National Park Service writes Class 2 as the speed line itself. Its definition at 36 C.F.R. § 1.4 reads: "Class 2 electric bicycle" shall mean an electric bicycle equipped with a motor that may be used exclusively to propel the bicycle, and that is not capable of providing assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 20 miles per hour.
Qiolor's factory setting stops the motor's help at 20 mph, and its product pages say the setting can be changed. Whether a cap the rider can change meets "not capable of providing assistance" is a question none of the provisions quoted here settles, so the wording is printed for you to read against your own bike.
On watts, the Tigers split. The JR's rated 500 W is under the federal "less than 750 watts" of § 2085(b); the RL and RE publish 750 W, which sits on that line, and a state that writes "no more than" or "does not exceed" 750 watts reads the same motor differently from one that copies the federal "less than". Where you can ride a Tiger on federal land
In a national park the default is closed: e-bike use "is prohibited in locations not designated by the Superintendent" (36 C.F.R. § 4.30(i)(2)). A person convicted of breaking the park rules in parts 1 through 7 "shall be subject to the criminal penalties provided under 18 U.S.C. 1865" (36 C.F.R. § 1.3(a)).
On Bureau of Land Management ground, a breach of its off-road vehicle rules carries a penalty that "may be a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not longer than 12 months, or both" (43 C.F.R. § 8340.0-7). Our public-land e-bike law guide covers national forests and BLM land in full.
The one setting that matters Qiolor sells every Tiger set to 20 mph and calls the setting adjustable. Keep it at 20 mph, check that your state and the land manager allow Class 2 where you ride, and read your state's wattage words before you choose between the 500 W JR and the 750 W RL and RE.

Qiolor tells its own story on its About page: "Hey there — we’re Qiolor. Born under the California sun, built for those who chase the breeze, the view, and that golden-hour glow." It says of its frames: "Our frames go through extensive impact testing — up to 400,000 simulated hits — to ensure they’re tough enough for the real world."
The public register adds the company behind the name. Qiolor's name has been a registered US trademark since September 28, 2021: registration 6498766, applied for on December 10, 2020, records first use in commerce on December 6, 2020. Its owner today is Vtuvia Electric Bike Inc., a Colorado corporation, after two recorded assignments, the second recorded September 3, 2024 from Changzhou Vtuvia Motor Technology Co., Ltd., which holds the VTUVIA mark, registration 7212929.
Buyers search "qiolor vtuvia tiger", and the register is the answer to that search. We sell VTUVIA's own e-bikes as well. Qiolor's older name for the Tiger RE is the Tiger MT-20: the maker's old Tiger address now opens the Tiger RE page, and the MT-20 decal is still on the frame.

Qiolor carries no CPSC recall, no CPSC product safety warning and no CPSC news release, screened September 25, 2026 under the brand name, the VTUVIA name that holds its trademark, and every Tiger and NOVA model name. Before its zero was trusted, every search had to find a brand with a known entry, such as Ancheer, Ridstar or Rad Power Bikes.

Yes. On September 25, 2026 no CPSC recall, warning or safety news release named it, its warranty page gives the frame five years, its specification tables publish the rider height, load and weight of every Tiger we sell, and we have ridden one (our Tiger RE review). Is Qiolor the same company as VTUVIA?
They are linked on the public register. The QIOLOR trademark, registration 6498766, is owned by Vtuvia Electric Bike Inc. of Colorado, which received it in 2024 from Changzhou Vtuvia Motor Technology Co., Ltd., the holder of the VTUVIA mark. We sell both brands: the Tigers here and VTUVIA's own e-bikes.
How fast does a Qiolor e-bike go?
Qiolor sets every model to a 20 mph maximum out of the box, as a Class II e-bike, and says the default can be adjusted (Tiger RE page). On our own ride the RE's display read 20.2 to 30.6 mph at assist level 5 (our review).
Can you make a Qiolor faster?
Qiolor's pages say the 20 mph default "can be adjusted according to user preferences" and publish no procedure. A Class 2 e-bike's motor stops helping at 20 mph under 36 C.F.R. § 1.4, so a Tiger whose motor helps past 20 mph is outside that definition; our state-by-state law guide shows what your state does with a machine like that.
What is the Qiolor Tiger MT-20?

How long does a Qiolor battery last, and where do I get one?
Qiolor's FAQ gives three to five years, or about 500 to 1,000 charge cycles, for its batteries, and its warranty covers a battery for one year, prorated. Replacement 15 Ah and 35 Ah Tiger packs are in our Qiolor parts collection at $499 and $999, the same price as Qiolor's store.
What are Qiolor frames made of?
Aluminum alloy, per the specification tables of the Tiger JR, RL and RE; Qiolor lists 6061 aluminum for the Plus and the NOVA. Qiolor's About page says its frames are impact-tested to 400,000 simulated hits.

Qiolor builds good-looking, throttle-first moped-style e-bikes with a clean record in three CPSC registers and a five-year frame warranty. The three Tigers we sell are sized for riders from 5'1" to 5'9" and cost $899 to $1,399 here, each at Qiolor's own price, delivered free.
Choose a Tiger for style and easy miles on flat and rolling ground. The Tiger RE at $1,399 is the one to buy for range and comfort, 1,680 Wh and a rear shock, and the one we have ridden for our review (buy the Tiger RE).
The Tiger RL at $1,099 gives you the 750 W motor at the lower price (buy the Tiger RL), and the Tiger JR at $899 is the one under 750 W, with four interest-free payments (buy the Tiger JR).

- Qiolor is the only publisher of these specifications. Its product pages, comparison chart, FAQ and warranty page were read in full. Its blog was read in part: on September 22, 2026, 110 of 670 posts could be fetched, the rest returning a verification page.
- Where Qiolor's own pages differ, both figures are here. The RL's specification table gives 5'1" to 5'9" and the comparison chart 5'3" to 6'6"; the table's figure is planned on and the fit is confirmed on request. The JR's page lists hydraulic disc brakes in its header and table and describes mechanical disc brakes in one feature panel; the table's figure is printed. Qiolor's photographs of the RE, like ours, show a derailleur-style arm at the rear axle, and its page lists a single speed, the figure printed.
- Prices were read during a sale. On September 25, 2026 Qiolor's own store was running an anniversary sale, and our three listings were set to the same prices that day; the maker's list prices are printed beside ours. Check the price on the day you order.
- Our ride is one bike, one rider and one display. The speed figures are the display's own readings from the rider's footage, with the unit set to km/h by the rider; they are not a calibrated measurement.
- No certification document was retrieved for this page. If your building, landlord or city asks for one, email us and we will request it from Qiolor.
- The CPSC registers move weekly. The screen ran on September 25, 2026; the warnings and newsroom counts are distinct notices and release numbers.
