How we verified this directory — Milad Ghobadibeygvand, BScN
Eleven e-bike makers' dealer maps and store pages, OpenStreetMap, a shop directory, 553 Google Maps searches, 16 questions to two answer engines and 74 Reddit threads named 210 businesses that might sell e-bikes in or near Las Vegas. The Census geocoder placed 189 of them inside or outside the city line, and its boundary file two more.
A business makes this list when Google Maps shows it open and either its own site sells e-bikes or a maker's dealer map names it. Closed shops, rental counters, mobile vans and sites with no e-bike for sale stay off it.
Quick Answer
Fourteen eBike shops in Las Vegas or just past its line sell from storefronts, verified November 6, 2026. Seven are inside the city, 0.7 to 11.7 miles from City Hall: Epic E-Bike Adventures, Bike World, Giant Las Vegas, Southwest Bikes, The Vault and two Best Buy stores. The other seven are in unincorporated Clark County.
Five more sit farther out, in the Nevada shop directory. Nevada asks no registration for an e-bike with working pedals and a motor of not more than 750 watts, and Clark County closes the Strip's sidewalks. Buying online instead? The picks in the Las Vegas buying guide all ship free here, and the Nevada e-bike law page covers the state's rules.
Las Vegas covers 141.9 square miles of land and 0.1 of water (2025 Gazetteer), home to 679,817 people in the Census Bureau's 2025 estimate.
All 14 stores below print "Las Vegas" in their addresses, and the Census places seven of them outside the City, in Winchester, Paradise, Sunrise Manor, Spring Valley and Summerlin South. The Strip from Russell Road to Sahara Avenue lies outside it too. The City and Clark County write separate rules, so the seven stores inside the limit come first.
The 7 Verified eBike Shops in Las Vegas
Las Vegas's seven e-bike stores sit in five of the City's six Wards and five of its 16 Master Plan areas. Six of them stand 5.4 miles or more west or northwest of City Hall, and Ward 5 has none.

Names you may meet in search results

| Name | What Google Maps or its own site shows |
|---|---|
| Pedego Electric Bikes Summerlin, 9416 Del Webb Blvd | Permanently closed |
| Pedego Lake Las Vegas, Henderson | Permanently closed |
| Viva E Bikes, 1980 Festival Plaza Dr and 7450 W Cheyenne Ave | Permanently closed at both |
| Pro Cyclery, 9440 W Sahara Ave | Permanently closed, though Bosch's map lists it |
| Velofix Las Vegas | A mobile shop with no storefront; it comes to you |
Farther out, you have five more stores with Las Vegas addresses. Radical eBikes, 3.9 miles past the limit, is a retail store with test rides on Lectric's locator.
The others are All Mountain Cyclery on West Sunset Road (4.1), Pedal & Pour on West Maule Avenue (4.6), HighVoltagePEV on Chandler Avenue (4.8) and Giant's Mountain's Edge store on South Cimarron Road (7.7). You'll find all five, and Henderson's three, in the Nevada shop directory.
Live in Paradise, Spring Valley or Summerlin South? Clark County's rules are yours: the helmet rule for minors matches the City's, and a third fine is $600, not $500.
RTC Buses and RTC Bike Share — Taking an eBike on Transit
Confirm the bus rack with RTC first, and keep the e-bike off the bus itself. RTC says every vehicle serving the valley carries "a bicycle rack that can accommodate up to two or three bikes" at "no additional cost," and it excludes "tricycles or tandem and gas powered bicycles" (RTC, How to Ride, as archived May 22, 2026).
That page names no e-bike on the rack. Inside the bus, you may "Not bring gasoline or lithium battery (including external battery packs) powered mobility devices onto the bus (even if they are foldable)" or "any object too large to fit between passenger seats" (How to Ride).
Or rent one at an RTC Bike Share dock. The feed listed 37 stations, all inside the city, with 4 electric and 131 classic bikes free at 11:01 a.m. on November 6, 2026 (station feed).
| RTC Bike Share pass | Price | Dock within |
|---|---|---|
| Dasher | $5 | 30 minutes |
| Explorer | $15 | 60 minutes |
| Downtowner | $125 | 60 minutes |
You "must be 16 or older," and the electric bike's pedal-assist motor helps "up to 17 mph" (How it Works, Meet your Bikes). Its FAQ says usage fees apply to "checking out an RTC Electric Bike," and its e-bike page put that at "An additional $1.00 fee" per unlock (RTC Bike Share, as archived April 21, 2026), so confirm it in the app first.
Trail Access — the Beltway and Red Rock Canyon
Hold 15 mph in City parks, and check the class on your bike before you ride Red Rock's dirt. The City bans "The operation of an electric bicycle or an electric scooter at a speed of more than fifteen miles per hour" within any City park, recreational facility or public plaza (LVMC 13.36.020(A)(11)).
Nevada lets you ride an e-bike "in places where bicycles are allowed," bicycle paths and shared-use paths included, unless a local authority closes one by ordinance (NRS 484A.4695).
| City trail (named on the City's layer) | Miles inside Las Vegas |
|---|---|
| Beltway | 8.8 |
| Bonanza Trail | 7.1 |
| Pioneer Trail | 6.8 |
| Lone Mountain Trails | 3.2 |
| Las Vegas Wash | 2.9 |
| Tortoise Trail | 2.7 |
| Cultural Corridor | 1.3 |
| Art, Entertainment and Boulder Plaza trails | 0.9 |
| No name on the layer | 80.1 |
Unrounded, the rows add to the 113.9 miles of constructed trail inside the Census line on the City's trails layer, last edited October 26, 2026.
Past the city line, the land manager's rule decides. At Red Rock Canyon, "Class 1 and 3 e-bikes are permitted on designated mountain biking trails," and "no bikes are permitted on any trails accessed via the Scenic Drive," the 13-mile paved one-way road (BLM).
The River Mountains Loop runs "16.2 miles one-way" inside Lake Mead National Recreation Area, part of a 34-mile paved loop (National Park Service). "E-bikes are allowed everywhere traditional bicycles are allowed" there, and the Park Service draws its line at a motor "of less than 750 watts," a shade under Nevada's "not more than 750 watts" (NPS biking). Read the label on your motor before you ride a park road.
Bought a throttle e-bike for the desert? Keep it off Red Rock's designated mountain-bike trails, which BLM opens to a Class 1 or Class 3.
Nevada eBike Laws — What Makes an eBike Legal in Las Vegas
Your e-bike needs no Nevada registration, and the state sets no helmet rule or minimum age. The registration chapter does "not apply to" electric bicycles (NRS 482.210), and a "motor vehicle" "does not include an electric bicycle or an electric scooter" (NRS 482.075). The Nevada law page shows the statutes' index carries no helmet or age entry.
- What qualifies. "Fully operable pedals," a seat or saddle, and "an electric motor which produces not more than 750 watts," in one of three classes (NRS 484B.017). Class 1 helps only while you pedal, to 20 mph; Class 2 "may be used exclusively to propel the bicycle," to 20 mph; Class 3 helps only while you pedal, to 28 mph.
- The label. Your bike needs a permanent label with its class, top assisted speed and wattage, a Class 3 needs a speedometer, and a speed change means a new label (NRS 484B.784).
Buying for a rider under 18? Pack a helmet. The parents' guide checks all 51 US jurisdictions for an operating age and offers 12 picks from 5 brands.
Open the parents' guideLas Vegas's own rules, and the Strip
Inside the City, ride the road or the sidewalk unless a sign says otherwise, and keep off Fremont Street's sidewalks. Ordinance 6921 opens "a public roadway or sidewalk, or a lane, path, or route" for e-bikes "Unless otherwise designated or posted" (LVMC 11.40.185), and took effect October 1, 2025 (City notice).
| City of Las Vegas rule | Where it sits |
|---|---|
| No riding on the sidewalks "on Fremont Street between Main Street and Seventh Street" | LVMC 11.40.180(A) |
| Where a usable path runs beside a roadway, use the path "and shall not use the roadway" | LVMC 11.40.120 |
| "Minors must wear a helmet at all times" | LVMC 11.40.185(C) |
| Fines of $150, $300, then $500, and parents answer for a minor | LVMC 11.40.185(D) |
| At night, a white front light seen from 500 feet, and a red rear reflector and lamp | LVMC 11.40.190 |
Heading downtown or to the Strip? Stay on the road. Fremont Street's sidewalks from Main to Seventh and the Strip's sidewalks are both closed to e-bikes.
The Strip is Clark County, and its sidewalks are closed to e-bikes. The County bars an electric bicycle "on any public sidewalk or public pedestrian easement in the restricted area" (CCC 14.42.058), which runs along Las Vegas Boulevard "from Russell Road to Sahara Avenue" and the listed cross streets (CCC 14.42.020(g)).
Elsewhere in unincorporated Clark County, you may ride roads and sidewalks unless posted, minors wear helmets, county parks hold 15 mph, and fines run $150, $300 and $600 (CCC 14.52.025).
North Las Vegas changed its rules on May 20, 2026. Ordinance 3275 requires a helmet for minors (§ 10.60.135), closes City-owned sidewalks "unless authorized by a posted sign" (§ 10.60.130) and fines $150, $300 and $600 (§ 10.60.150). Its notice also lists "City parks and trails (unless posted)" as prohibited (City of North Las Vegas, as archived June 17, 2026).
E-bike rebates in Las Vegas
NV Energy offers you no rebate on an e-bike. Its site, read page by page on November 6, 2026, mentions bikes in other ways: six it sponsored for RTC Bike Share, and charging at select locations (ERTEP).
Where to Ride Your eBike in Las Vegas
Plan your commute around the painted lanes, because the City's map holds a third of a mile of separated lane. Its bike lanes layer, last edited August 4, 2025, carries 263.1 miles of existing on-street facilities inside the Census line when each street piece is counted once.
| Facility | Miles inside Las Vegas |
|---|---|
| Bike lane | 228.2 |
| Buffered bike lane | 27.8 |
| Signed route or sharrow | 6.6 |
| Separated lane | 0.3 |
| Bridge | 0.2 |
The longest lanes follow Alta Drive (11.9 miles), Washington Avenue (9.6), Torrey Pines Drive (7.6), the on-street lanes the City names the Vegas-Owens Trail (6.5) and Tenaya Way (6.4).
Riding Alta or Washington to work? Pick yours from 18 commuter e-bikes by 6 brands, $519 to $2,299.
See the 18 commuter picksWhy order your e-bike from Redtail
Prefer it brought to your door? Redtail's shipping policy gives "free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States," and Nevada is inside that line. A bike is "dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation," and most "arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your location."
If the carrier damages it, tell us "within 48 hours of delivery" and we file the claim. A bike that is "dead on arrival, will not charge, or throws an error code out of the box" goes through as a manufacturer warranty claim, handled remotely (How Buying Works; the refund policy carries the same terms).
Want to talk first? Our US line is (213) 444‑4020, and the contact page promises an email reply "within one business day." Checkout takes Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and the terms of service name the company that sells you the bike.
Frequently Asked Questions — Las Vegas eBikes
Are e-bikes legal in Las Vegas?
Yes. Nevada defines an e-bike by "fully operable pedals" and a motor "which produces not more than 750 watts," in Class 1, 2 or 3 (NRS 484B.017). Inside the City you may ride a road, sidewalk, lane, path or route "Unless otherwise designated or posted" (LVMC 11.40.185).
Where can you buy an e-bike in Las Vegas?
At seven stores inside the City: Epic E-Bike Adventures, Bike World on South Rainbow, Giant Las Vegas, Southwest Bikes, The Vault and two Best Buy stores showing SWFT. Seven more sit just past the line: Revolt E-Cycles, Ultech Ebike, WheelZen Rides, Las Vegas Cyclery, E-Bike Market Place, Trek Bicycle Las Vegas West and Bike World on East Flamingo.
Can you ride an e-bike on the Las Vegas Strip?
On the road, unless posted; on the sidewalk, no. Clark County bars e-bikes "on any public sidewalk or public pedestrian easement in the restricted area" (CCC 14.42.058), along Las Vegas Boulevard "from Russell Road to Sahara Avenue" (CCC 14.42.020(g)). Roadways stay open unless posted (CCC 14.52.025).
Can you ride a bike on the sidewalk in Las Vegas?
Inside the City, yes, unless a sign says otherwise, and never on Fremont Street's sidewalks between Main Street and Seventh Street (LVMC 11.40.180). Pedestrians have the right of way, and you sound a signal before you pass. The County bars e-bikes from the Strip's sidewalks, and North Las Vegas from City-owned sidewalks unless a sign allows it.
Does Las Vegas have a helmet law for e-bike riders?
For minors, yes: "Minors must wear a helmet at all times" (LVMC 11.40.185(C)), and unincorporated Clark County uses the same words (CCC 14.52.025(D)). For adults, the City says "Helmets are recommended." Nevada sets no helmet law of its own.
Do you need to register an e-bike in Las Vegas?
No. Nevada's registration chapter does "not apply to" electric bicycles (NRS 482.210), and the City's bicycle chapter adds no license for you (Chapter 11.40).
Can you rent an e-bike in Las Vegas?
Yes. RTC Bike Share's feed showed 4 electric bikes free at 37 stations at 11:01 a.m. on November 6, 2026, for riders 16 or older (How it Works). Epic E-Bike Adventures books rentals and self-guided rides "Starting at $99" (its home page), and Landmark Bike Rentals rents by the hour, day or month.
Who repairs e-bikes in Las Vegas?
Epic E-Bike Adventures offers "electric bike repair, maintenance, and service" downtown (its home page). Bikebrain on West Cheyenne says "we service the e-bikes most shops turn away" (its repair page), BBV Powersports on West Sahara offers "e-bike and e-moto repair services," and E-Bike Market Place on East Judson rebuilds batteries (its home page). Alex's Mobile E-Bike Repair and Velofix come to you.

Sources, limitations and how this page was verified
The denominator
Each business any source tied to Las Vegas became a lead: 210 in all, every one with a verdict by November 6, 2026. Out of them came 14 verified stores, 7 in the city and 7 in unincorporated Clark County, none more than 2.0 miles past the limit.
The Census placed 81 leads inside Las Vegas. Besides the seven stores, 41 are not bicycle stores, 8 could not be checked, 7 repeat another lead, 7 are closed, 3 rent bikes or run tours, 2 have no storefront, 2 name no e-bike for sale, 2 are temporarily closed, 1 only services e-bikes and 1 left no trace.
Of the 56 within 3 miles past the line, 7 are the stores above, 26 are not bicycle stores, 4 could not be checked, 5 rent bikes or run tours, 4 repeat another lead, 4 are closed, 3 name no e-bike for sale, 2 have no storefront and 1 left no trace.
The other 73 lie farther out or could not be placed, 47 of them outside Las Vegas.
Fifteen could not be checked, so phone them before you rule them out. Urban Bike Company, First Choice Bicycle, Bicycle Stuff, Golden Crown Bicycles, Leave No Trace Wheels, Riders Ready Bike Shop and Vegas eBike Rentals gave no site to read. REI at Boca Park's store page gave no answer, and Bosch's map lists REI's Henderson store and not this one. The other seven are listings with no street or no site to read.
The sources, and what each one could and could not do
The makers. Within 20 miles of the city's Census point, the dealer maps of Aventon, Bosch, Giant, Pedego, Specialized, Trek and Velotric and the store locators of Lectric, Magnum, QuietKat and SWFT were read on October 28, 2026.
Google Maps. The city's 24 ZIP code areas, 73 neighborhood names and 8 nearby places were searched in two phrasings, 210 searches in all, and 343 follow-up searches opened the leads' listings.
Leads and websites. OpenStreetMap, Levy Electric's shop list, Claude's web search, Google's chat assistant and 74 Reddit threads pointed to businesses; none rests on them alone.
The city line. The TIGERweb boundary agrees for all 191 placed leads. Distances run straight from City Hall, the geocoder's point for 495 S Main St.
Limitations
- Stock moves daily, so call before you drive out for one model.
- Maker dealer maps date from October 28, 2026; store sites, listings and codes were read on November 6, 2026, and The Vault and Ultech print no hours.
- Three sources are quoted from Internet Archive copies, because the live sites would not serve them: the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS 484B as revised September 9, 2026; 482 and 484A as revised April 15, 2026), RTC's bus page (May 22, 2026) and RTC Bike Share's e-bike page (April 21, 2026).
- NV Energy's site was read from its sitemap: 1,138 of 1,154 pages and 360 of 364 program documents.
- Claude's web search and Google's chat assistant answered the 16 questions; ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Mode refused an automated browser.
- The Reddit archive answered 115 of 116 searches.
- This list stops 3 miles past the line; the Nevada shop directory goes farther. Any shop these sources never named is missing here.
- Next re-check: May 2027, or sooner if these statutes, codes or RTC's policy change, or a store here closes, moves or stops selling e-bikes.
