How we verified this directory — Milad Ghobadibeygvand, BScN
To find every bike shop in Jurupa Valley, seven e-bike makers' dealer maps were read whole, along with OpenStreetMap, Yelp, Superpages, Google Maps, each business's own website and eight questions put to answer engines. The Census geocoder settled which addresses lie inside Jurupa Valley.
To count, a store must sell e-bikes on a page it runs or appear on a maker's dealer map. A bicycle shop whose site is a placeholder, a sporting-goods chain, a wooden-bicycle maker and an electric dirt-bike maker are named below without being counted. Last verified October 5, 2026; next check April 2027.
Quick Answer
As of October 5, 2026, no business inside Jurupa Valley sells e-bikes from a page of its own. Southridge Cycling on Jurupa Road is the city's bicycle shop, but its website is a placeholder, so phone first. The closest e-bike floors, Stacked BMX Shop and Trinity Scooters in Riverside, are 5.8 miles out, and eleven stand within 10 miles.
Settle the class and the range with the buying guide before you shop, and read the California law page before your first ride.
Jurupa Valley, which the City's own notice says was incorporated on July 1, 2011, counted 108,154 residents in the Census Bureau's 2024 estimate. The brick house on the cover belongs to the Jensen-Alvarado Historic Ranch & Museum on Briggs Street, where the county says "visitors can tour the brick ranch house, outbuildings and large winery."
The 0 Verified eBike Shops in Jurupa Valley and Its One Bike Shop
Four businesses inside the city turned up in a map, a directory or an answer engine, and none of them sells e-bikes from a page it runs. The city's one bicycle shop is worth a phone call; the rest are named so a search result cannot misdirect you.
Southridge Cycling — Jurupa Road
Address: 9199 Jurupa Rd, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509
Phone: (951) 361-0138
Website: southridgecycling.com, a page reading "Web Site Under Construction"
Brands: none named on any page the shop publishes
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday, per Google Maps
Focus: a bicycle shop 1.0 mile west of the city's center point. Evidence grade: site checked, not counted as an e-bike seller.
The shop's site prints its mailing address as "9199 Jurupa Rd. Riverside, Ca. 92509" and little else, and none of the nine pages and one post it publishes names an e-bike. A Yelp reviewer writes "Southridge is an e bike shop," and every answer engine that replied to a Jurupa Valley bike-shop question named it, so ask on the phone what is on the floor before you drive over.
Also tied to Jurupa Valley, named and not counted.
- A sporting-goods chain: Big 5 Sporting Goods at 8052 Limonite Ave #102, on the second floor of the Jurupa Valley Spectrum. The chain's Bikes page, in its January 8, 2026 archive, listed one bike, a Kent mountain bike, and no e-bike.
- A wooden-bicycle maker: Materia Bikes at 1689 Production Circle, whose site sells "Our wooden bikes" from $4,400 and names no e-bike.
- An electric dirt-bike maker: Rawrr, which BBB lists at 5550 Stockdale Ct. Its own site says its bikes are "not street legal and are intended for off-road use only" and rates its fastest model at a nominal 5,000 watts, so it is not an e-bike seller under the state's 750-watt line. Superpages lists a "Minali Cycles" on Orco Parkway among bicycle shops; Google Maps shows that phone number as Mihali Cycles, a motorcycle repair shop, outside the four.
A Riverside mailing address can sit in Jurupa Valley. Southridge's own site and Metrolink's station page both print "Riverside" with ZIP 92509, and the Census geocoder places both addresses inside Jurupa Valley, so search by street rather than by city name.
Choosing before the drive to Riverside or Norco? The buying guide walks through class, battery size and frame fit in that order, and every bike it recommends ships free to Jurupa Valley.

Seven makers' dealer maps and every nearby bike shop that Yelp, Superpages, Google Maps and the answer engines listed were read out to 10 straight-line miles from the Census Gazetteer point. Within that ring you have eleven e-bike floors, five of them within 7 miles.
Stacked BMX Shop — Riverside
Address: 9442 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503
Phone: (951) 534-6690, the number its site gives for the storefront
Focus: a BMX shop whose own site files an Electric Bikes category between its 29-inch and 32-inch BMX bikes. 5.8 straight-line miles away. Evidence grade: site checked.
The site lists Monday and Wednesday to Friday 11 a.m.–6:30 p.m. and Tuesday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., and calls Saturday "Out Riding" and Sunday "Still Riding," so plan a weekday visit.
Trinity Scooters — Riverside
Address: 9516 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503
Phone: (951) 354-5351, per its own site
Focus: a scooter store whose own site prices a fat-tire e-bike at $1,200 among its electric scooters; Google Maps files it as a motorcycle dealer. 5.8 straight-line miles away, on the same stretch of Magnolia Avenue as Stacked. Evidence grade: site checked.
The listing prints no motor wattage, and California's § 312.5(c) requires a label showing "the classification number, top assisted speed, and motor wattage," so read that label before you pay.
eBike Wagon — Norco
Address: 816 Sixth St, Unit B, Norco, CA 92860
Phone: (951) 407-1161
Focus: its own site calls the shop a "brick-and-mortar e-bike store" and says "Come take a test ride." 6.0 straight-line miles away. Evidence grade: site checked.
HOVSCO and TST — Ontario
Address: 820 S Wanamaker Ave, Ontario, CA 91761
Phone: HOVSCO (626) 998-9009; TST (626) 878-4885
Focus: two online e-bike brands that both publish this address. HOVSCO's contact page calls it the "Ontario Location," open Monday to Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. PDT, and TST's contact page gives the same street. 6.0 straight-line miles away. Evidence grade: site checked, the makers' own location.
Cyclery USA — Tyler Street, Riverside
Address: 3396 Tyler St, Riverside, CA 92503
Phone: (951) 354-8444
Focus: listed as "CYCLERY USA - RIVERSIDE" on Bosch's dealer map, and named by all four answer engines that replied to the Jurupa Valley shop questions. 6.7 straight-line miles away. Evidence grade: brand dealer roster.
Norco Cycle — Norco
Address: 3250 Hamner Ave #204, Norco, CA 92860
Phone: (951) 739-0787
Focus: on Velotric's dealer map, tagged for sales, test rides and service, with Monday to Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sunday closed. 7.3 straight-line miles away. Evidence grade: brand dealer roster.
QBEAR eBikes & eScooters — Riverside
Address: 3740 Iowa Ave #105, Riverside, CA 92507
Phone: (909) 929-9716
Focus: its contact page lists this suite as "RETAIL: QBEAR STORE," apart from a warehouse in Diamond Bar, and its home page invites shoppers to the "QBEAR Retail Store." 7.5 straight-line miles away. Evidence grade: site checked.
Between 8 and 10 miles. REI Rancho Cucamonga (8.3 miles) on Bosch's map, Don's Bicycles in Rialto (8.4), verified on the Rialto page, Riding 5 Electric Bikes on Holt Boulevard in Ontario (9.4), with a store page of its own, and Cyclery USA on Haven Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga (9.7), a stocking dealer on Aventon's map.
Read and not counted, within 10 miles:
- Closed on Google Maps: Pedals Bicycle Shop on Sunnyside Drive (5.4 miles), Gorillaz Ride Shop (6.1) and Performance Bicycle Shop in Ontario (6.8) permanently, and Bike Together in Norco (9.2) temporarily.
- No page naming e-bikes: Peddlepower on Magnolia Avenue (7.5), a BMX and cruiser shop, and Hector & Milena Bike Shop in Fontana (6.9), whose domain is parked.
- Online brands with no showroom: Qualisports (6.2), Magicycle (7.1) and Fucare (9.7); Trek's and Aventon's Ontario listings are corporate offices.
- Something other than a store: Triple Jay E-Bike Rentals in Fontana (5.2) rents bikes, and the Eastvale DICK'S Sporting Goods (5.3) names no bike on its store page.
RTA, Metrolink and the Pedley Station — Taking Your eBike Across Jurupa Valley
You can take an e-bike on Riverside Transit Agency buses and Metrolink's Riverside Line, and each publishes a battery-bike rule.
RTA buses. "RTA buses feature bike racks on all fixed-route buses," the agency's bike page says, each with room for "at least two bikes." Electric bikes with "sealed gel, lithium Ion, or NiCad batteries" may ride the rack "as long as they fit safely in the bike rack and have standard tires."
The same page sets a hard ceiling: "Bicycles must not exceed 55 lbs." It adds that "Bikes are not allowed to be locked to the bike rack," and RTA's customer line is (951) 565-5002.
Metrolink at Pedley. The Jurupa Valley/Pedley station at 6001 Pedley Road, 1.8 miles south of the city's center point, sits on the Riverside Line. Its page lists "Bike racks/lockers," says "Parking is free for all Metrolink passengers" across 283 spaces, and names RTA as its bus connection.
Onboard, Metrolink's bike rules take "Electric bicycles with pedals and manufacturer-installed sealed batteries" within "32 inches wide x 58 inches long" and a "Maximum tire width: 2.6 inches." Power your battery off, and do not charge it aboard.
Where riders get caught out: RTA's rack stops at 55 pounds and Metrolink's coaches at 2.6-inch tires, so an e-bike over 55 pounds on wider tires fits neither; check both numbers before you plan a transit trip.
Taking the Riverside Line from Pedley? The folding guide gives each pick's folded size where the maker publishes one, so you can test it against Metrolink's 32-by-58-inch limit, and every pick ships free to Jurupa Valley.
Compare folding e-bikesThe Santa Ana River Trail and Rancho Jurupa Park
Every answer engine that replied to "jurupa valley bike trail" named the Santa Ana River Trail first, and the county's Rancho Jurupa Park sits along the same river.
The Santa Ana River Trail
The trail is "an important regional recreational corridor that runs through Riverside and Jurupa Valley," the Mission Boulevard Bridge project says. In May 2025 the county announced "more than 230 new wayfinding signs along 20 miles of the existing Santa Ana River Trail (SART) in Riverside County."
The replacement Mission Boulevard bridge will add "A separated multipurpose trail for pedestrians, equestrians, and cyclists," with "a direct connection to the Santa Ana River Trail," the City's projects page says; it expects construction to finish "in late 2029."
Rancho Jurupa Regional Park
The county runs Rancho Jurupa Park at 4600 Crestmore Road, inside the city by the Census geocoder, with "walking/biking paths around the park and campgrounds." Day use runs "6 a.m. to Sunset," at "$6 per adult and $3 per child (12 and younger)," and the park store offers "Access to bike rentals."
Its posted rules include "Bicycle riders must wear helmet."
Riverbend Park
The park district's parks map marks a walking trail at Riverbend Park, 11711 Confluence Drive, which the Census places inside the city. Read the posted rules at the entrance before you ride its paths.
Every bike rider at Rancho Jurupa wears a helmet. State law asks it of riders under 18 and Class 3 riders, but the county park's own rule names no age, so adults on any class wear one there too.
Riding the river trail to work in Riverside? The commuter guide sets each pick's weight beside its payload and torque, so you can check it against RTA's 55-pound rack before you buy, and every pick ships free to Jurupa Valley.
See the commuter picksCalifornia eBike Laws — What Makes an eBike Legal in Jurupa Valley
The state sets the classes and the age limits. Jurupa Valley's own code adds a park rule and a trail rule, and Riverside County's Ordinance 995 governs e-bikes on county land, including the county parks inside the city.
The state's definition and classes
Under Vehicle Code § 312.5(a), an e-bike has "fully operable pedals and an electric motor that does not exceed 750 watts of power."
| Class | Motor help | Assist stops at | Rider |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Only while pedaling | 20 mph | Any age; helmet under 18 |
| 2 | Pedaling or throttle | 20 mph | Any age; helmet under 18 |
| 3 | Only while pedaling; speedometer | 28 mph | 16 and up; every rider in a helmet |
Section 312.5(d) takes a machine "intended by the manufacturer to be modifiable" past 20 mph on motor power alone, or past 750 watts, out of the e-bike category, whatever its box says.
A legal e-bike "is not a motor vehicle" under § 24016(b), so you need no license, registration or plate for one. On the road, § 21200 gives you, as its rider, "all the rights" and duties of a driver.
Section 21213 keeps riders under 16 off Class 3, and § 21212 fines a helmetless rider under 18 "not more than twenty-five dollars ($25)," making parents "jointly and severally liable."
What Jurupa Valley's code says, and what it leaves out
The city's code on Municode is "Codified through Ordinance No. 2026-04, enacted May 21, 2026." Searches of it for "electric bicycle," "e-bike," "motorized bicycle" and "motorized scooter" found no section, and the one later ordinance Municode holds, No. 2026-07 of August 20, 2026, amends home-occupation rules.
Sidewalks. None of the 50 sections that mention a sidewalk, or the 12 that mention a bicycle, sets a riding rule for city sidewalks. The state's § 21650(g) "does not prohibit the operation of bicycles" on "any sidewalk" where no code or local ordinance prohibits it, and § 231 says "An electric bicycle is a bicycle."
Where you do use a sidewalk, ride at walking pace and give pedestrians the way, and cross driveways expecting a car.
City parks. In the 26-acre park at 64th and Downey Street and any other park the Council designates, § 6.85.010 bars riding "any skateboard, bicycle or other wheeled device except at or on locations authorized and provided for such purpose by signs." Under § 6.85.050, a violation is a misdemeanor unless the City Attorney prosecutes it as an infraction.
Riders' and hikers' trails. Section 13.15.020 makes it unlawful "to operate a motorcycle, motor-driven cycle, motor truck or motor vehicle on any riders' or hikers' trail within the city." A legal e-bike is not a motor vehicle, so the section does not name it, though an off-road electric dirt bike is a different machine.
Riverside County's Ordinance 995, on county land
The Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 995 on May 20, 2025, effective June 18, 2025. Its staff report calls it an e-bike safety ordinance "in unincorporated communities," and its definition of County Property reaches county land "within the unincorporated or incorporated territory of the County," which takes in Rancho Jurupa Park.
- Class 1 and 2 "may be ridden on sidewalks and trails," except where a bike path runs alongside; Class 2 is barred from business-district sidewalks, bridges and sidewalks next to schools.
- Class 3 is "prohibited from being ridden on all sidewalks and trails unless posted signage specifically allows for such use."
- Every e-bike is "prohibited on Equestrian trails within the County of Riverside."
A first violation costs you "one hundred dollars ($100)," a second within a year $200 and a third $500.
What a city violation costs
Breaking the city's code is an infraction unless a section says otherwise, under § 1.15.010. Section 1.15.030 lists infraction fines of up to $200, then $300 within a year, then $1,000, and up to $1,000 or six months in jail for a misdemeanor.
The state's Government Code § 36900(b), the section the city's own § 1.15.030 cites, sets lower infraction figures: "one hundred dollars ($100)" for a first violation, $200 for a second within a year and $500 for each one after. The two texts disagree.
What changes on January 1, 2027
Two bills signed on September 30, 2026 take effect on January 1, 2027, under the California Constitution's Article IV, § 8. From January 1, 2027, AB 2346, Chapter 842, makes "10 miles per hour" the prima facie speed limit on any sidewalk.
That matters to you in a city whose code sets no sidewalk rule of its own. From January 1, 2027, SB 1167, Chapter 846, also bars selling or labeling a vehicle "with motor power of more than 750 watts" as an e-bike.
Jurupa Valley, in one line: ride the street with a driver's duties, keep sidewalk riding slow, follow park signs, stay off county equestrian trails, and keep Class 3 for riders 16 and older.
Buying a teenager's first e-bike? The first-bike guide begins with four numbers, distance first, and translates Class 1, 2 and 3 before it names a bike, and its picks ship free to Jurupa Valley.

The street is open to every class under § 21200; the river trail and the county park suit longer, slower days.
Your Jurupa Valley riding checklist
- Weigh the bike before you plan an RTA trip: the rack stops at 55 pounds.
- Measure tire width before a Metrolink trip from Pedley: 2.6 inches is the limit.
- Pack a helmet for every rider at Rancho Jurupa Park.
- Read the entrance signs before riding into a city park.
- Keep e-bikes off county equestrian trails, and keep Class 3 off county trails unless a sign allows it.

South Coast AQMD. Jurupa Valley appears on the district's jurisdiction list for Riverside County, so if you are among the owners "who meet the income and vehicle requirements," you can apply to Replace Your Ride. The district's e-bike page says "the program will cover up to $7,500" toward a bike with "a motor rating of 750W or less."
The state. California's own E-Bike Incentive Project "began in December 2022 and concluded in December 2025," so the AQMD route is the open one.

Is there a bike shop in Jurupa Valley that sells e-bikes?
Not one that sells e-bikes from a page of its own, as of October 5, 2026. Southridge Cycling at 9199 Jurupa Road is the city's bicycle shop, open Tuesday to Saturday, but its website is a placeholder, so call (951) 361-0138 before you go. Your nearest e-bike floors are Stacked BMX Shop and Trinity Scooters in Riverside, 5.8 miles out.
Is Jurupa Valley part of Riverside?
No. Jurupa Valley is its own city in Riverside County, incorporated on July 1, 2011, according to the City. If your mailing address reads Riverside 92509, you may still live in Jurupa Valley, as Southridge Cycling and the Pedley Metrolink station do.
Does the Big 5 in Jurupa Valley sell e-bikes?
Not on the chain's own Bikes page as archived on January 8, 2026, which listed one bike, a Kent mountain bike, and no e-bike. The store at 8052 Limonite Avenue, upstairs in the Jurupa Valley Spectrum, answers at (951) 727-8917 if you want to ask about stock.
Where can you ride a bike trail in Jurupa Valley?
The Santa Ana River Trail follows the river through Riverside and Jurupa Valley, and you can ride the walking and biking paths of the county's Rancho Jurupa Park on Crestmore Road from 6 a.m. to sunset. A new Mission Boulevard bridge, due in late 2029, will give you a separated trail to the river path.
Can you ride an e-bike on Jurupa Valley's horse trails?
Not on the county's: Ordinance 995 bars every e-bike from equestrian trails on county land. Jurupa Valley's own code names no e-bike rule for its trails, and § 13.15.020 bars only motorcycles and motor vehicles from riders' and hikers' trails. Where you share a path with horses, slow down and pass wide.
Is Rancho Jurupa Park in Jurupa Valley?
Yes. The county lists Rancho Jurupa Regional Park at 4600 Crestmore Road, Jurupa Valley, and the Census geocoder places that address inside the city. Day use costs you $6 per adult and $3 per child 12 and under, and the park's rules say "Bicycle riders must wear helmet."

Sources, limitations and how this page was verified
The denominator
Jurupa Valley had 108,154 residents in the Census Bureau's 2024 vintage estimate (California file, row "Jurupa Valley city"), against a 2020 estimates base of 105,053.
Four businesses inside the city were tied to it by at least one source: none verified, 1 bicycle shop whose site names no e-bike, 1 sporting-goods chain floor, 1 wooden-bicycle maker and 1 electric dirt-bike maker. A motorcycle repair shop, a cannabis store a map search returned for "electric," and a mobile repair service with no street address were set aside first.
All 76 leads from the directories, map searches, answer engines and neighboring city pages were measured from the Census point. Eleven distinct e-bike floors stand within 10 miles; the rest are farther out, closed, online-only, repair or rental businesses, offices or stores that name no e-bike.
The sources, and what each one could and could not do
Seven makers' dealer maps were read to 10 miles on October 4, 2026, each beside a control: Velotric, Aventon, Giant, Bosch, Specialized, Trek and Pedego's California directory. A Trek row alone was treated as a lead, since Trek's locator marks no e-bike dealers.
OpenStreetMap relation 11117030 was read as a lead pool, never a count, and returned one object inside the city, a path.
Directories and AI search. Yelp, Superpages and Google Maps were read in a browser. Of seven answer engines asked eight questions, four answered all eight and Brave answered two; Bing's Copilot search and Copilot could not be read. Every business the engines named was read and given a verdict.
The city code was read on Municode, with its ordinance bank, and the City's own site search was run for "e-bike," "ebike" and "electric bicycle" against a control search for "trail."
City limits
Every address placed inside Jurupa Valley here returned "Jurupa Valley city" from the Census geocoder, Rawrr's through the map point for its address, which the geocoder could not match. Mileages are straight lines from the Census Gazetteer point; road miles run longer.
For the cover, the ranch museum's Briggs Street address returned "Jurupa Valley city."
Limitations
- Big 5's live website refused a script and a real browser on October 5, 2026, so its Bikes page was read in the January 8, 2026 archive.
- The City's site search returned 782 pages for "e-bike," led by planning documents, and none for "ebike," so an e-bike rule adopted after August 20, 2026 and not yet in Municode could be missed.
- Whether a stretch of the river trail is county land, and so under Ordinance 995, is not stated on the pages read; follow the posted signs.
- What Southridge Cycling stocks could not be read on any page it publishes.
- A bike shop that no directory, map search or answer engine returned could be missing from the 10-mile ring.
What would age this page
- A store opening inside Jurupa Valley, or Southridge Cycling publishing a page that sells e-bikes.
- The City adopting an e-bike ordinance or a sidewalk rule, or the county amending Ordinance 995.
- January 1, 2027, when AB 2346 and SB 1167 take effect, and late 2029, when the Mission Boulevard bridge trail is due.
