Freesky's e-bikes, checked model by model, covering prices, fit, the record and the warranty: the eight we sell priced on our own store on October 13, 2026, their specifications read on Freesky's pages, the rider windows and weights printed on each page, the warranty and policy pages, the UL certificates Freesky links, and the federal recall and warning listings searched for the brand.
Quick Answer — Freesky eBikes come with fat tires and big batteries, and we sell eight of its models, from $1,299 to $1,999 in standard colorways on October 13, 2026. Its rider windows run from 5'1" to 6'8", so height narrows the choice first. No Freesky recall or CPSC warning was on the federal record on that date. (About page)
On a Redtail order the warranty claim comes to us first, and Freesky's own warranty runs 24 months on the motor, battery and controller for orders from November 13, 2025. (Freesky's warranty page)
The short answer Freesky is a real maker with eight bikes on our shelf. Fit by height first, then power and pack, then price. The rider window is the maker's figure on each page, and the warranty route on your order is ours.

How we verified this profile. Written by Milad Ghobadibeygvand, BScN (Western University, 2014).
We read Freesky's own product, specification, warranty, refund, shipping and about pages on October 13, 2026, and read the eight listings on our own store the same day. Freesky is the sole publisher of its specifications: we report them as the maker's own published figures and did not check them by independent test.
Our own store is the only source for our prices. We searched the CPSC recall database and its product safety warning listing with a control brand, so a zero can be read. Corrections go to support@redtailebikes.com.
We searched the CPSC recall database and its product safety warning listing with a brand that carries a known recall as a control, so a zero in either can be read. We read the UL certificates Freesky links as the certificates state them. Redtail eBikes sells Freesky's e-bikes. (recall database) (warning listing)
Our own warranty and delivery terms are printed below, in our words.
Freesky eBikes: which one fits you
Start with your height and your inseam, then your use. Each fit from the maker's own window is printed on its card. Freesky's windows are the maker's own figures, and they do the sorting. (Alaska Pro M-520 page)
A rider at 5'1" has one model on the list.
A rider at 6'4" has seven. Within a window, power and battery decide the ride, and the review for each model, linked from its card, carries the computed range and fit for the body you specify.

Every card below opens with the spec that decides that bike. The maker's windows, weights and ranges are on each card, and the lineup table puts all eight side by side.

How far each goes, and what the maker's range means
The maker prints one range per model, a span such as 60 to 105 miles. A footnote on its dealer page says the maximum range "is based on specified test conditions" and lists the factors that change it: rider weight, terrain, speed, temperature, wind, tire pressure and riding mode. (dealer-page footnote)
The test conditions themselves are not printed on the product pages we read, so the span tells you the maker's claim and little else.
The computed figure for a 180 lb rider on flat pavement, at 15 and 20 mph on the throttle, is what each review works out, with the inputs shown. The two widest spans on the list belong to the Cheetah MT-380, at 120 to 200 miles, and the Alaska Pro M-520, at 98 to 175 miles. (Cheetah MT-380 page)
The reviews compute a figure for each model under stated conditions, and that computed figure is the one to plan around, not the span.
Which Freesky fits your height
Freesky prints a rider window and an inseam window on every model. We read them from each page and set them against your body in three steps.
- Measure your inseam in stocking feet against a book spine, then check it against the 27 to 35 inch window on seven of the eight bikes (25 to 35 inches on the Rocky Pro A-320).
- Check your height against the window on the table above. Seven of the eight start at 5'3" or taller; the Alaska Pro M-520 starts at 5'6", the Warrior Ultra M-530 at 5'5" and the Cheetah MT-380 at 5'4". The Rocky Pro A-320 starts at 5'1" and tops out at 5'11".
- Check the seat height in the review for the model you choose. The maker prints a seat height range for each bike, and the review puts it against the formula height for the bike's frame.
The maker's windows are the figures we print. Where a review finds the window disagrees with the frame geometry Freesky draws, the review says so and prints both figures, and the reader decides. (Rocky Pro A-320 page)
Peak power, rated power and the label
Every Freesky page states peak power for each motor, in the form "2000W + 2000W Brushless Peak Motor" or "4000W Peak BAFANG Brushless Motor". Peak is the most a motor can deliver for a short time. The federal definition sets its limit at "an electric motor of less than 750 watts" and does not say whether that figure is the peak or the rated power. (Ranger Plus M-540 page)
When you buy, check the rated figure on the bike's label or in its manual, and read how your state's rule reads the figure. (15 U.S.C. § 2085(b))
The law: what the statutes test, and where you ride
Settle this before you order: the federal definition sets a motor limit and a speed limit, and a listing's peak power figure does not say which side of either line a bike sits on.
The federal definition is 15 U.S.C. § 2085(b): a two- or three-wheeled vehicle "with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of less than 750 watts (1 h.p.), whose maximum speed on a paved level surface, when powered solely by such a motor while ridden by an operator who weighs 170 pounds, is less than 20 mph."
States set their own classes, speed limits and age rules, and cities and land managers can add rules of their own. The electric bike laws hub carries the state pages we have verified against the statute text. Read your state's page before you buy, and read the rule for the place you ride. (15 U.S.C. § 2085(b))
Trails and federal land
Federal land has its own definition. The Bureau of Land Management's rule defines an electric bicycle as one "with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of not more than 750 watts (1 h.p.)" that meets one of three classes (43 CFR § 8340.0-5(j)).
The penalty clause in the same part applies to the regulations of its own subparts 8341 and 8343, not to every rule that touches an electric bicycle: "a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not longer than 12 months, or both" (43 CFR § 8340.0-7).
Before you ride a Freesky on public land, check the land manager's own rule for that unit, and the trail's own posting.
Each state's rule for a motor above 750 watts, its speed limits and its age rules sit on the electric bike laws hub. Read your state's page before you choose a model whose rated figure sits above the line.
Read the law for your stateWho is behind Freesky
Freesky's About page describes the company in its own words: "FREESKY has spent 20 years pioneering the R&D and sales of electric bicycles," and it calls itself a manufacturer that puts design and quality first. We report that description as the company's own. Its site footer carries the copyright line "Freeskycycle eBike LTD". (About page) (About page)
Every UL certificate Freesky links that we could read as text names GuangZhou Yansan Science & Technology Co., Ltd of Guangzhou, China, as the holder, with TÜV SÜD America, Inc. as the certifying body. A holder is the party a certification body tested for. It is not the address of a factory. (UL 2849 certificate, Ranger M-540)
Freesky sells through its own site and through a dealer program. The site also runs a test-ride program and a registration page for owners. The product pages name Bafang as the motor maker on the Swift Horse Ultra X-6E, and Freesky names its battery cells on several model pages. (dealer page)
We could not establish the assembly site from the pages and documents we read (see Limitations).
Freesky's record in the federal register
We searched the CPSC recall database for Freesky on October 13, 2026, on the three fields a control brand proved working: the recall title, the recall description and the product name. The search ran with a control brand that carries a known recall, and the control returned its records on the same fields, so an empty result is a real result.
Freesky returned no record on those three fields.
We also read the CPSC's product safety warning listing, 375 rows, with the same control, and the listing carries no Freesky entry. (warning listing)
Read this as a finding about the search, not a clean bill of health for every model. A recall can name one model, one serial range or one battery pack. Before you ride, search cpsc.gov for your model and your serial number, and sign up for the recall notices for the bike you buy. (CPSC recall search)
Warranty, delivery and returns
On an order placed here, the warranty route runs through us. (our terms; Freesky's warranty page) Our terms of service put it this way: "We will help facilitate warranty claims with the manufacturer, but we do not provide the warranty ourselves." Freesky's own warranty terms are on its site.
Its written period is 24 months on the motor, battery and controller and 12 months on other parts for orders placed on or after November 13, 2025, and 18 months on those core parts for earlier orders. A question about how those terms apply to your order comes to us first. (warranty page)
Every e-bike we ship to the lower 48 states comes with free shipping. Our shipping policy gives one to three business days to prepare an order and says that "most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch." Note any damage with the carrier and email us photos within 48 hours of delivery at support@redtailebikes.com, and we file the carrier claim. (shipping policy)

Four checks before you order a Freesky
Four checks come before any order, and each takes a minute: the state rule, your inseam against the seat window, storage and lift, and where you will charge. Work through them before you add a bike to your cart.
Your state's rule for a motor above 750 watts. Start on the electric bike laws hub and read the page for your state.
Your inseam against the seat range. Use the window table and the reviews for each model.
Your storage, your lift and your car rack. (Cheetah MT-380 page) The Cheetah MT-380 weighs 122 lb, the Rocky Pro A-320 77 lb, and the other six between 83 and 99 lb.
Where you will charge. Plan an outlet close to where the bike lives, and check the charger that ships with your model.
What to check first Your height against the window, then your inseam, then your state's rule for a motor above 750 watts. The ledger below says what each Freesky is wrong for.
The honest ledger
The ledger lists what is verified and what a rider should check. Its red flags are about fit and use only, and each one ends in a page to read next.
Green flags, each one checkable on the day you read this page
- The maker prints a rider window, an inseam window, a weight and a seat height range for every model, so the fit question has a published answer for each bike we sell.
- Freesky publishes a written warranty with dated periods: 24 months on the motor, battery and controller and 12 months on other parts, for orders from November 13, 2025.
- No Freesky recall or CPSC warning was found on October 13, 2026, with the search validated by a control.
- Six of the eight bikes come in three or more colorways you can order today.
- Free delivery inside the contiguous United States, and Shop Pay on every price above $1,000.
Red flags, which are about fit and use, and each one ends in a route
| Red flag | What it means for you | Where to go next |
|---|---|---|
| Weight: the Cheetah MT-380 weighs 122 lb and the Warrior Ultra M-530 97 lb | A bike this heavy needs a lift and a rack that take its weight | The buying guide for the lighter machines we sell |
| Height at the top: the Rocky Pro A-320 window ends at 5'11" | A rider above 5'11" needs one of the taller windows | The tall-rider guide |
| Inseam below 27 inches: seven of the eight windows start at 27 inches | A shorter inseam may not reach a saddle in the window | The fit section, then the review for the model you choose |
| Range at the maker's figure: the span has no test conditions printed on the product pages we read | Plan with the computed figure in each review, not the top of the span | The Ranger Air review shows the method and its inputs |
| Power for a first powered bike: the Warrior Ultra M-530's 6,000 W peak and 45 mph suit an experienced rider | A newer rider should start with lower power | The frame and fit guide, then the Rocky Pro A-320 or the Ranger Air M-540 |
Frequently asked questions
Is Freesky a good e-bike brand?
Freesky publishes a rider window, a weight, a warranty period and a peak-power figure for each model we sell, and we print our store's price beside the maker's list on each card. The record we can check says no recall or warning is on the federal list.
Whether the brand suits you depends on the bike that fits your height and use, and the picks above sort that for each of the eight.
Is Freesky legit?
Freesky is an operating company. Its site, its policy pages and its product pages are live, the copyright line reads Freeskycycle eBike LTD, and every UL certificate we could read as text names a holder, GuangZhou Yansan Science & Technology Co., Ltd of Guangzhou, China. The federal recall and warning listings carry no Freesky entry. (About page)
We could not read the owners' record on third-party review platforms on October 13, 2026 (see Limitations).
Who makes Freesky e-bikes?
The company on Freesky's site is Freeskycycle eBike LTD. In its About page it describes twenty years of research and sales in e-bikes. Every UL certificate we could read as text names GuangZhou Yansan Science & Technology Co., Ltd as the holder, and the motors and cells are named on the model pages. (About page)
Where are Freesky e-bikes made?
The certificate holder for Freesky's UL certificates is GuangZhou Yansan Science & Technology Co., Ltd, of Guangzhou, China. The Swift Horse Ultra X-6E names a Bafang motor on its page. We could not establish the factory address from the maker's pages or its certificates, and the Limitations say so. (UL 2849 certificate, Ranger M-540)
Are Freesky bikes reliable?
The reliability record we can state is the maker's written warranty: 24 months on the motor, battery and controller and 12 months on other parts for orders from November 13, 2025. A fault on a Redtail order comes to us first. Owner reports on third-party review platforms were not read for this page (see Limitations). (warranty page)
Has Freesky had an e-bike recall?
No Freesky recall or safety warning was on the federal record when we searched on October 13, 2026. A search checks the brand name on the recall database and the warning listing, and a zero is only as good as the control that proves the search works. Check your model and serial number on cpsc.gov before you ride. (recall database) (warning listing)
What does a Freesky e-bike cost?
On our store on October 13, 2026, the eight bikes we sell run from $1,299 to $1,999 in their standard colorways, and the Camouflage editions cost $100 more on three models. Shop Pay splits any price above $1,000 into 3, 6 or 12 monthly payments at 15% APR, and the 12-payment figure runs from $117.25 to $180.43 a month. (our listings) (our listings)
What warranty does Freesky give?
Freesky's written warranty covers the motor, battery and controller for 24 months and other parts for 12 months on orders placed on or after November 13, 2025, and 18 months on the core parts before that date. On a Redtail order we help facilitate the claim with Freesky, and the warranty itself is Freesky's, as our terms say. (warranty page)
Which Freesky has dual motors?
Five models carry two motors: the Ranger Air M-540 and the Eurostar Turbo M-410 at 2,000 W peak each, the Cheetah MT-380 at 2,000 W each, the Ranger Plus M-540 at 2,500 W each, and the Warrior Ultra M-530 at 3,000 W each. The Alaska Pro M-520, the Swift Horse Ultra X-6E and the Rocky Pro A-320 each carry one motor. (Ranger Plus M-540 page)
What battery does a Freesky e-bike carry?
The packs run from 48 V 25 Ah on three models, to 48 V 60 Ah on the Cheetah MT-380. The Alaska Pro M-520 carries two packs of 18 Ah and 27 Ah, and the Warrior Ultra M-530 carries a 60 V 30 Ah pack. The Batteries section gives the charger check. (Cheetah MT-380 page)
Freesky or Tesway: which should I buy?
Choose by the rider window first. Freesky's windows start at 5'1" on the Rocky Pro A-320 and most of its models run from 5'3" to 6'8". Our Tesway profile carries its own windows and its own picks.
Compare the window and the pack for your use, and the warranty route on your order is the same kind for both: we help facilitate the claim with the maker.
The bottom line
Buy a Freesky if the window fits you and the power matches your ride. Start with the rider window. A rider from 5'1" to 5'11" should look at the Rocky Pro A-320 first.
A rider from 5'3" to 6'8" who wants two motors at the lowest price should look at the Ranger Air M-540 and the Eurostar Turbo M-410, which share a price, a pack and two motors.
A rider who wants the longest range should look at the Cheetah MT-380 and read its weight before deciding. The Alaska Pro M-520 suits a rider from 5'6" who wants a 45 Ah pack. The Warrior Ultra M-530 is the power bike: its 6,000 W peak and 45 mph are the highest figures the maker prints on this list.
Skip a Freesky if the window misses you. No Freesky window starts below 5'1" or ends above 6'8", and a rider outside those heights should choose by a different brand's window. Our brand hub lists every brand we sell, and the best e-bike brands guide ranks them by use.
Free delivery inside the contiguous United States, Shop Pay from $135.30 a month for 12 payments at 15% APR, and a warranty claim we help facilitate with Freesky. Fit first: check your height and inseam against the window in the lineup table.

Ten limits apply to this profile. Each one is stated as a fact about the record on October 13, 2026, with the source that shows it, so a reader can see what the page does not cover.
- Prices and stock are our store's and the maker's, read on October 13, 2026. Both move daily (our listings). Each card prints our store's price; the maker's list is its compare-at price on the same day, where it prints one.
- The federal motor limit does not say whether it means peak or rated power, and each Freesky page states peak power. Check the rated figure on the label or in the manual against the rule for your place. (Ranger Plus M-540 page)
- The owner record on third-party review platforms was not read for this page. Trustpilot returned an error to our direct request on October 13, 2026, and the platform has no archived copy we could read, so no platform rating or review count is printed.
- The company history is the maker's own description. The About page says twenty years. We did not verify that figure against an independent record.
- The assembly site is not established. We could not identify the factory from the maker's About page or its certificates.
- Two listings on our store are sold out and not offered. The one Warrior-line listing and the Wild Cat Ultra A-340 are sold out on our store. The Wild Cat Ultra A-340 is no longer in Freesky's catalog, and its review stays up. (the maker's catalog)
- Camouflage editions of two models are not on our store. This page covers the models we sell.
- Certificate coverage is read model by model on each review page, not on this page.
- Range figures are the maker's, and the computed figures are the reviews' under the conditions each review states. The maker's dealer-page footnote names the factors. The maker's footnote names the factors that change range; the test conditions are not printed on the product pages we read.
- Dated facts expire. The conditions that change this page are listed in the expiry conditions.
Expiry conditions
This profile stops being accurate when a listed condition changes. The conditions are price, stock, warranty, the maker's catalog, recalls, our own terms and the fit windows, and we re-read each one before the next republish.
This page is accurate as of October 13, 2026.
It stops being accurate when any of these change: a price on our store or on the maker's site; the maker's warranty periods or its warranty page; a new Freesky model, colorway or certificate; a recall or warning on the CPSC listings; a change to our own warranty, shipping or return terms; or a change in the availability of any listing on our store.
We re-read each of these before the next republish.
Source register
The grades below say how each source was read. Every fact on the page rests on a source graded T1 or T2, and T3 is used only for the questions buyers asked.
| Grade | Meaning | Used here for |
|---|---|---|
| T1 | A primary text: the statute, the regulation, the certificate, the government listing, or the company's own published terms and specifications, read on the date shown | The federal and BLM texts; the CPSC listings; Freesky's policy pages and product pages; the UL certificates; our store's terms, shipping and refund pages |
| T2 | A company's own description of itself, reported as that company's claim | The About page's history and mission |
| T3 | A search-suggestion string, read as a question people ask, never as a fact about the brand | The FAQ headings, each mapped in the demand ledger |
Sources consulted
- 63 maker URLs requested: 48 returned 200; 15 returned a redirect or 404 (the two removed listings, their JSON, and retired page handles)
