Delivery protection
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns

Owning it in your state
Federal law defines a “low-speed electric bicycle” as a vehicle with a motor under 750 watts and a maximum speed under 20 mph on the motor alone (15 U.S.C. § 2085(b)). The UrbanX's 500W motor is under that wattage; Smartravel states a top speed of up to 22–24 mph, and the federal test counts speed on the motor alone. State law governs where and how you can ride it. - Range: up to 40 miles with pedal assist and about 23 miles on the throttle in Smartravel's FAQ and spec list; its range chart gives 18–23 miles on the throttle, and its feature copy 25–40 and 35+ miles.
