TIGER RE Retro Electric Bike

The Qiolor TIGER RE is a Class 2 retro-styled fat-tire e-bike with a 48V 750W motor (1100W peak), dual-piston hydraulic brakes, rear suspension and a removable 35Ah battery, sold by Redtail at $2,099, price-matched to Qiolor. It is Qiolor's step up from the single-speed JR/RL pair toward the 7-speed TIGER PLUS.

Who the TIGER RE is for
Buy it if
- Riders who want the longest range in the Tiger lineup on a single-speed bike. Qiolor rates the 35Ah pack at up to 130 miles, versus 70 miles pedal-assist for the JR and RL
- Riders who want rear suspension, which the RE adds as a rear hydraulic shock the JR and RL don't have
- Riders who want a removable battery that can charge off the bike
- Riders 5'1"–5'9" — Qiolor's stated recommended-height range for this frame
Look elsewhere if
- You want gears. The RE is still single-speed; only the TIGER PLUS in this lineup has a derailleur
- You're on a budget. At $2,099 it's $500–$700 more than the JR and RL
- You're outside the 5'1"–5'9" recommended height range Qiolor publishes for this frame
- You want independently verified range and speed numbers. The range and torque figures here are Qiolor's own manufacturer ratings
48V 750W hub motor, 1100W peak
Qiolor rates the RE's motor at 750W continuous with an 1100W peak and 85 N·m of torque, and Qiolor states it can handle up to 15° grades.
Dual-piston hydraulic brakes
A step up from the single-piston hydraulic setup on the JR and RL, for more stopping power at the lever.
Removable 48V 15Ah/35Ah pack
The battery pulls out of the frame to charge separately. Qiolor rates the 35Ah pack (in stock) for up to 130 miles and the 15Ah pack (out of stock) for up to 60 miles.
Front fork + rear hydraulic shock
The RE is the only bike in the JR/RL/RE trio with rear suspension, on top of the front fork all three share.

Red flags
- Qiolor states the top speed is user-adjustable. Raising it above 20 MPH can put the bike outside Class 2/3 limits, which determines where it's legal to ride, so check your state and local rules before adjusting it
- The 130-mile range figure is for the 35Ah pack under Qiolor's own test conditions. Real-world range on throttle, hills, or with a heavier rider will be lower
- 10–12 hour charge time on the 35Ah pack is long; the smaller 15Ah pack (currently out of stock) charges in 5 hours
- Only 2 of the 16 color/battery/rack combinations Qiolor lists are in stock as of 2026-08-15

What we counted
We pulled Qiolor's entire live catalog on 2026-08-15 and counted what was actually buyable: 59 of 111 variants (53.2%) across 44 products, and only 6 of 30 bike configurations (20%). 7 products were sold out in every variant. - Second-hand purchases or unauthorized-seller transactions

Qiolor Limited Warranty issued by Qiolor, as published on their warranty policy page. Claims: Send us the order number, a description of the fault, and photo or video evidence, and we file the claim with Qiolor for you. Motor and battery claims need a photo of the serial or production label, which we will tell you where to find. Shipping
Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and remote areas may incur extra charges or be excluded — contact us before ordering. What makes the TIGER RE different from the JR and RL?
Rear suspension, dual-piston hydraulic brakes, a removable battery, 3 ride modes, and a much longer maximum range (130 miles on the 35Ah pack vs. 70 miles pedal-assist on the JR/RL). It's still single-speed, and costs $500–$700 more.
Can I get the TIGER RE with the 15Ah battery instead of 35Ah?
Qiolor lists both, but the 15Ah option is out of stock across every color as of 2026-08-15, so we only offer the 35Ah pack right now.
Can I ride the TIGER RE on bike paths?
Qiolor specs it as a Class 2 e-bike (pedal assist plus throttle, 20 MPH default), which is the most commonly permitted class on U.S. bike paths. Access rules are still set state by state and sometimes city by city, so check your local law before riding it there.
Is this covered by the Qiolor warranty?
Yes. Qiolor's 2-year frame warranty and 1-year warranty on the battery, motor, controller and other named electrical components apply. See the Warranty section below for exactly what's covered and excluded.
How does shipping work?
Redtail ships electric bikes free within the contiguous United States. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days, with most bikes arriving 5–10 business days after dispatch.
