A genuine pair of Ridstar disc brake pads at $22.95 — $12 below Ridstar's own price for the same part. Ridstar's listing names six US fitments: the Q20, Q20 Mini, Q20 Pro, FM-001, H26 Pro and MN26. Our previous version of this page also claimed the H20 series and the DC26, and Ridstar's own listing names neither, so those claims are gone.

- Pad compound, dimensions and part number. Ridstar publishes none of the three for this part, so neither do we.
- Whether these fit models Ridstar does not name — including the H20, H20 Pro, DC26, Q16, Q30 family, MN20, E26 and E26 Pro. Absence from Ridstar's fitment list is not proof they do not fit; it is proof we cannot say they do.
- Our earlier description claimed fitment for the H20 series, the DC26 and a YVY C26 Max. None of those appears on Ridstar's own listing for this part. The claims have been removed rather than quietly softened.

What you get
One pair. Genuine Ridstar pads, not a pattern part. Ridstar publishes no material or compound specification for them.
Fitting it
Disc pads are a ten-minute job with the wheel out on most bikes in this range. If yours has hydraulic brakes, bedding the new pads in properly matters more than the swap itself.
Warranty, shipping & returns
Warranty
Ridstar’s limited warranty runs one year from the original purchase and covers hardware and firmware defects. Its own warranty page states that “gear and accessories” sit outside that cover, so treat a spare part as covered by the fault-on-arrival terms below rather than by a year of warranty.
Shipping
Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48). Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Parts may ship separately from a bike on the same order.
If it arrives wrong
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.

Do Ridstar bikes have hydraulic brakes?
Some do and some do not, and it varies within the same model family. Ridstar publishes hydraulic dual brakes for the Q16, Q20 Luxe, Q20 Pro, Q30 20Ah, 25Ah, Luxe and Pro, the E26 Pro and the Q50, and plain mechanical discs for the DC26, H26 Pro, MN26, H20, MN20, Q30 Lite and Q30 Luxe Lite. Check your own model's page before ordering pads.
How much are Ridstar brake pads?
$22.95 here for a pair, as of 26 August 2026. Ridstar's own US listing for the same part is $35.00.
How do I know when to change my brake pads?
The usual signals apply to a bike in this weight class as they do to any other: a longer lever pull, a scraping sound, or visible pad material below about a millimetre. On a heavy fat bike the pads work harder than on a light one, so inspect them more often than you would on an unpowered bicycle.
Editorial addition: we were not able to observe anyone asking this, and include it because a buyer of this part needs the answer.
