Samebike CY20 Pro Solid Wheel folding e-bike in White on a white background, drive side: the step-through frame with the SAMEBIKE wordmark, the black pack behind the seat tube, the front basket, the padded rear rack, both fenders and cast five-arm wheels with orange reflectors

The Solid Wheel in White, while Black and Navy cost the same $599. Each wheel is cast in one piece, with five arms.

A $599 folder on cast one-piece wheels, in three colors: the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel pairs a 500 W rear hub, peaking at 800 W, with a removable 36 V pack of 468 Wh, a thumb throttle, seven Shimano gears and a padded rear rack, then folds small enough for a car trunk.

Quick answer

Cast wheels, a throttle and a fold: the Samebike CY20 Pro Solid Wheel is a $599 folding e-bike with a 500 W rear hub (800 W peak), a removable 468 Wh pack and 20 × 3.0 tires. For a 180 lb rider on level ground, the range model in our review computes 46 miles at 15 mph pedaling easily.

Why the CY20 Pro (Solid Wheel)

Samebike's "Ergonomic Saddle" photograph of the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel: the wide black saddle on its post, with the top of the pack and its charge indicator just below
Battery

468 Wh that charges on or off the bike

Thirty-six volts times 13 amp-hours makes the 468 watt-hours printed on Samebike's battery panel and range graphic. To take the pack indoors, the manual has you press the saddle's buckle, flip the saddle forward and turn the key; its charger is rated 42 V at 2 A, so an empty pack needs about 6.5 hours.

Range

46 miles at 15 mph with easy pedaling

For a 180 lb rider on level pavement, our review's model puts easy pedaling at 15 mph good for about 46 miles, and the throttle alone at the same pace for about 29. Keep a quarter of the pack in reserve for hills, stops and wind, and plan on 34 and 21.

Fold

Three moves to a trunk-sized bundle

Fold the stem down, release the frame's folding buckle and swing the front wheel back beside the rear: that is the whole sequence in the manual. Samebike's FAQ gives the folded size, without the front basket, as 880 × 490 × 850 mm, or 34.6 × 19.3 × 33.5 inches.

Motor

Rated 500 W, peaking at 800 W

Samebike's gallery calls it a "36v 500w powerful brushless motor", built into the rear hub, and its specification list gives the 800 W peak. The thumb throttle moves the bike on its own, and five pedal-assist levels share the work when you pedal.

Brakes

Cable discs front and rear

A cable pulls each caliper, and Samebike's brake panel promises "reliable stopping power" "with less maintenance". For a hard stop, the manual says to brake the rear wheel first and then the front.

Wheels and colors

Cast one-piece wheels, in three colors

"Solid Wheel" means rims cast in one piece with five arms, where the Spoked Wheel uses wire spokes, on 20 × 3.0 tires with fluorescent reflective strips along their edges. Black, White and Navy each sell for $599 here.

What stands out on the spec sheet

  • Three colors, Black, White and Navy, all at $599.
  • A removable 468 Wh pack that charges on the bike or indoors, 6 to 8 hours from empty by Samebike's figure.
  • A step-through frame whose lowest point stands 15.2 inches up, measured on Samebike's photograph at the wheelbase scale.
  • A thumb throttle, five pedal-assist levels, seven Shimano gears, and a 6 km/h mode and cruise control on the display, per the manual.
  • A load capacity of 150 kg (330 lb) on a 31 kg bike.

Who the CY20 Pro (Solid Wheel) fits

Samebike's gallery recommends the Solid Wheel for riders 4'9" to 6'9", and its size-and-fit drawing for 150 to 210 cm. Set against the 6,068 bodies of the Army's 2012 survey, the rider with the shortest legs of twenty at 4'11" clears the frame's 15.2-inch low point by 11.6 inches, and the post puts the saddle at the pedaling formula's height for 79 in 100 riders at 5'2", 99 at 5'6" and 96 at 5'8".

It’s your bike if

  • Your commute is pavement or packed path, and the bike has to fold into a car or a closet at the end
  • You are roughly 5'2" to 5'10", the heights where the post suits most riders
  • You want the cast-wheel look, or a Navy frame, for $599
  • About 46 flat miles at 15 mph with easy pedaling, by our model for a 180 lb rider, covers your round trip

Want something different? We stock it

  • If you want more battery at the same $599, the CY20 Pro (Spoked Wheel) carries a 48 V pack of 624 Wh on wire-spoked wheels, in Black or White, and our model gives it 39 miles at 15 mph on the throttle.
  • If you are taller than about 5'10" and still need a folder, the LO26 Plus raises the saddle on 26-inch wheels, where 56 of every 100 riders at 6'0" reach the formula height, at $999.
  • If your route runs over dirt or sand, the RS-A02 Pro folds on 20 × 4.0 tires with a fork and a rear suspension, at $999.

Our CY20 Pro (Solid Wheel) review sets heights from 4'11" to 6'2" against Samebike's drawing of this frame, from stepping over it to the weight your hands carry on the grips.

Owning it in your state

Samebike's US page prints no e-bike class for the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel, so the category it falls into depends on the law of the state you ride in.

That law reads the numbers Samebike publishes: 500 W rated and 800 W at peak, 32 km/h (19.9 mph) on the specification list and 35 km/h on one gallery image, and a thumb throttle that drives the bike alone. No CPSC recall names Samebike as of September 29, 2026, the day we searched the federal recall database.

The rules for where you ride are in our state-by-state e-bike law guide.

What we counted. Five of the eleven Samebike models we sell fold. The two CY20 Pros are the least expensive of those five at $599, and at 31 kg the lightest after the LO26 Plus, which weighs 30.5 kg on its specification list.

Each model's US specification list and our own listing prices, read October 2, 2026.

Where Samebike prints two figures

Samebike's page, gallery and manual print two readings for some Solid Wheel figures; both readings sit below, and the table above opens with the specification list's.

  • Battery: 36 V 13 Ah (468 Wh) on the specification list, the stat strip, the battery panel, the range graphic and a gallery image; one sentence on the range panel prints "540Wh".
  • Top speed: 32 km/h (19.9 mph) on the specification list and stat strip; 35 km/h (21.7 mph) on the gallery's motor image.
  • Range: 90 km "Max Range" on the specification list, 45–90 km on the stat strip, "up to 55 miles" on the range panel, "over 70km range in mild electric mode" on the battery panel, and the manual's 37–43 miles with pedal assist and 18–22 on pure electric.
  • Suspension: the specification list names a "Front fork"; the stat strip reads "DUAL Suspension", and a feature panel is headed "Dual Suspension Systems".
  • USB: the specification list reads "USB Charger: No", while the manual lists a USB port with a 5 V 1 A output and a feature panel mentions USB ports.
  • Water resistance: IP64 in the product page's FAQ, for the whole bike including motor, battery and display; IP54 on the manual's specification page.
  • Warranty: "12 Months Warranty" in the page's policy block; 3 years on the frame and 1 year on batteries, motors and other accessories on Samebike's warranty policy page, whose words appear in the cards below.

Straight answers before you order

At 6'0", the highest saddle top of 41.8 inches sits below the pedaling formula's height for 70 of every 100 riders.

Send your height and barefoot inseam to us and you will hear, in writing, where your saddle would land. On 26-inch wheels, the folding LO26 Plus brings 56 of every 100 riders at 6'0" to that height. See the LO26 Plus. See the saddle heights.

Samebike's 90 km (56 miles) is a "Max Range", and its range panel says the top figure was "Measured in Mode 1, Level1 pedalassist".

For steady riding on the flat with a 180 lb rider, our review's model gives about 46 miles at 15 mph pedaling easily and 29 on the throttle alone; with a quarter of the pack kept back, that is 34 and 21. Open the range tables.

Its suspension is a front fork, with a rigid rear and cable-pulled discs.

That suits pavement and packed paths. If your route is rough, the RS-A02 Pro folds on 4-inch tires with a fork and a rear suspension for $999. See the RS-A02 Pro.

The bike weighs 68 lb whether it is folded or not, and it arrives in an 81.5 lb box.

We deliver it free in the lower 48. Have a helper for the steps and for lifting it into a car, and check that your trunk takes 34.6 × 19.3 × 33.5 inches. See the weight figures.

Manuals and assembly

Samebike's CY20 PRO manual sets out the build in pictures: raise the handlebar riser and lock its buckle, then fit the headlight and fenders, the rear saddle, the front wheel with its quick-release, the saddle, and the pedals, which carry L and R marks, along with the rear footrest. In the box with the bike: the charger, three wrenches, five Allen keys and a screwdriver. If a step stops you, send us its number.

Warranty cover, and who files the claim

A fault is our job

If the bike will not power on, will not charge, shows an error code or has a faulty component, send photos or video and your order number. We open the claim with Samebike and coordinate the repair or replacement remotely, start to finish.

What Samebike publishes

Samebike’s warranty policy states: “Frame warranty for 3 years, batteries, motors and other accessories warranty for 1 year.” After the first year, a battery earns “a prorated credit, based on months of service,” toward a new one.

Samebike’s terms, from its Samebike Warranty Policy (us.samebike.com/pages/warranty-policy), read September 26, 2026.

Wear items

Samebike’s policy lists brake pads, rotors, spokes, tires and tubes, chains, chain rings, cassettes and the crankset among the parts not typically covered, as ordinary wear and tear.

Frequently asked questions

How far can the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel go on one charge?

About 46 miles at 15 mph with easy pedaling, and about 29 at the same speed on the throttle alone, for a 180 lb rider on level pavement by our review's model. Samebike's specification list gives 90 km (56 miles) as its "Max Range".

Solid Wheel or Spoked Wheel: which should I buy?

Both are $599 with the same frame, motor and fold. The Solid Wheel rolls on cast one-piece wheels with a 36 V 13 Ah pack (468 Wh) and comes in Navy too; the Spoked Wheel has wire spokes and a 48 V 13 Ah pack (624 Wh), which our models put at 39 miles against the Solid Wheel's 29 at 15 mph on the throttle.

What is the Solid Wheel's top speed?

Samebike's specification list and stat strip print 32 km/h (19.9 mph), and the motor image in its gallery prints 35 km/h. Where your state's rule turns on speed, ask us and we will put the question to Samebike in writing for the bike you would receive.

Is the CY20 Pro street legal, and what class is it?

Samebike gives it no class; the e-bike definition in your state settles the question. The figures that definition weighs are a 500 W rated motor with an 800 W peak, 32 km/h on the specification list, and a thumb throttle, and our state-by-state law guide quotes each state's wording.

How much does the Solid Wheel weigh?

31 kg (68.3 lb) on Samebike's specification list, and 68 lb in the manual. In its shipping box it weighs 81.5 lb, so plan on two people at delivery.

What is the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel's weight limit?

Samebike's specification list and manual both give 150 kg (330 lb) as the load capacity; keep rider and cargo together under it.

Can you take the battery out of the CY20 Pro?

Yes: press the saddle's buckle, flip the saddle forward, turn the key and lift the pack out, in the manual's order. You can then charge it off the bike.

How long does the Solid Wheel take to charge?

6 to 8 hours from empty, on the specification list, the charger panel and in the manual. The manual's charger delivers 2 A, and 13 Ah divided by 2 A is 6.5 hours.

What does a full charge of the CY20 Pro cost?

About 9 cents: 468 Wh priced at July 2026's US household average of 18.31 cents per kilowatt-hour, from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, before charger losses. On the throttle at 15 mph that comes to roughly three-tenths of a cent per mile.

How does the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel fold?

Stem down, frame buckle open, front half swung back beside the rear wheel: three moves in the manual. Without the basket it measures 34.6 × 19.3 × 33.5 inches folded.

What rider height suits the Solid Wheel?

Samebike recommends 4'9" to 6'9" in its gallery and 150 to 210 cm on its drawing. Run against 6,068 surveyed Army bodies, our review's fit model finds the saddle at the pedaling formula's height for 99 of every 100 riders at 5'6", 96 at 5'8", 75 at 5'10" and 30 at 6'0".

What tire pressure does the CY20 Pro use?

The manual says to inflate "According to the actual information on the tire", so read the sidewall of the 20 × 3.0 tires before you pump them up.

Can I ride the Solid Wheel in the rain?

Samebike's FAQ says its bikes "are designed to handle wet conditions" but that heavy rain "may affect battery life and reduce traction"; it rates the whole bike IP64, while the manual prints IP54.

Where is the CY20 Pro Solid Wheel manual?

The FAQ on Samebike's Solid Wheel page links it as the "CY20 PRO User Manual"; its English section walks through assembly, charging, folding and the display buttons.

Can I pay for the Solid Wheel over time?

Shop Pay on this listing, read September 26, 2026, offered 4 interest-free installments; its sample plans were $199.67 every two weeks for six weeks at 0% APR, $599.00 in total, or $54.06 a month for 12 months at 15% APR, $648.72 in total, after an eligibility check.

Rates from 0-36% APR. Payment options through Shop Pay Installments are subject to an eligibility check and are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required. State notices to consumers: affirm.com/licenses.

Is Samebike a legit brand?

Samebike's US about page names Guangzhou Sameway Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd. as the maker and 2004 as its founding year. We found no CPSC recall naming Samebike on September 29, 2026, and if your Solid Wheel ever needs a warranty repair, the claim goes through us.
