The Romeo Pro II is the 52-volt dual-motor Romeo: two 2,000W hub motors at 120 N·m each, a 3,640Wh (52V 70Ah) pouch-cell pack, a 500 lb load rating, air suspension at both ends and 240mm hydraulic discs. It undercuts the 60-volt Romeo Ultra II by $1,000 while keeping the same load rating and two-wheel drive. Eahora publishes its top speed as "28+ Mph(46mph)". Buy it if
- Riders who want dual-motor traction and the 500 lb load rating without paying Romeo Ultra II money — this is the same load figure for a thousand dollars less
- Two-up riding and cargo work: 500 lb rated, a 26" × 18" steel frame, and a motorcycle-style saddle designed to be sat on by more than one person
- Anyone who wants the option of running one motor: the 4-inch color display carries a motors switch, so two-wheel drive is a choice rather than a permanent tax on range
- Riders who charge overnight but not all night — at 6–7.5 hours this is the quickest charge of any 70Ah-plus Romeo, because the 58.8V 7A charger is filling a 52-volt pack rather than a 60-volt one

Two 2,000-watt motors, 240 N·m combined
Dual brushless hub motors, 2,000W and 120 N·m each, sealed to IPX6, with a motors switch on the display. Two-wheel drive is what stands behind the 500 lb load rating and what gets a 161 lb bike moving from a stop with a passenger on the back; one-motor mode is what you use on flat commutes to protect range.
3,640 watt-hours on 52 volts
A 52V 70Ah pack of Grade A lithium-ion pouch cells rated at 1,200 charge cycles to 80% of capacity. Eahora claims 104–200 miles with pedal assist, or 70–76 miles on throttle alone. The arithmetic checks: 52 × 70 = 3,640 watt-hours, exactly as printed.
Six to seven and a half hours
The included 58.8V 7A quick charger refills the pack in 6–7.5 hours by Eahora's figure — the fastest of the big-battery Romeos, and a direct consequence of running 52 volts rather than 60. It is the difference between a bike that is ready before you go to bed and one that is ready when you wake up.
Adjustable air at both ends
A golden dual-shoulder air fork with 100mm of travel and rebound damping, plus a damped 50mm air shock at the rear. Both are adjustable, which on a bike rated to carry 500 lb is not a luxury — the right sag with a passenger is a different setting from the right sag alone.
240mm rotors with motor cutoff
Hydraulic disc brakes on 240mm × 3.0mm steel rotors with two-piston calipers and semi-metallic pads, and motor cutoff on both levers. Eahora pairs them with a 2,000-lumen 20W headlight with an integrated horn and a tail light that blinks under braking.

- 52V × 70Ah = 3,640Wh, exactly the figure Eahora prints. We recomputed all 25 watt-hour claims across its catalog and all 25 were correct
- The 500 lb load rating is published, not implied, and it matches the flagship's — unusual at this price, where 330 lb is the category norm and is what most of Eahora's own range carries
- Charge time is the honest kind of trade-off: 6–7.5 hours on the included 58.8V 7A charger, meaningfully faster than the 60-volt Romeos' 8–12 hours, because the pack is 52V rather than 60V
- Component-level specification throughout — 240mm × 3.0mm rotors, two-piston calipers with semi-metallic pads, Shimano RD-TY300 and MF-TZ500-7, WELLGO pedals, 12-gauge stainless spokes
Red flags
- "28+ Mph(46mph)" is published with no explanation of the bracket. That is the number to settle with your state before ordering, and we will get Eahora's answer in writing if you ask
- No certification is published for this model — no standard number, no certificate, no issuer. The only statement anywhere is a general FAQ line about batteries being 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'
- Eahora's warranty coverage table gives 24 months on the frame while the same page states a one-year claims deadline, and its storefront header advertises '1 Year Warranty'. Plan around 12 months
- The geometry block is shared with two other listings on Eahora's own store (a duplicate Romeo Pro II listing and a European-spec one), and its 'Rim Diameter 24" or 57.5cm' row does not reconcile — 57.5cm is 22.6"

Speed and the law — read this before you buy
Eahora publishes this bike's assisted top speed as "28+ Mph(46mph)" for both pedal assist and throttle, and states no class on this model's page. In the United States most states define e-bikes in three classes with a 28 mph ceiling; a machine assisting past that ceiling is generally regulated as something other than a bicycle, which can change where you may ride it and whether a license, registration, insurance or helmet is required. Eahora's FAQ page makes a general claim that its e-bikes 'belong to Class 3'; that claim is not repeated here and does not sit comfortably beside a 46 mph figure. Eahora publishes a geometry block for this bike. The identical block appears on two other Romeo Pro II listings on its own store — a duplicate and a European-spec version — so read it as the platform's geometry rather than a per-bike measurement. The rim-diameter row also gives "24" or 57.5cm", and 57.5cm is 22.6 inches, not 24. Where fit is tight, email us your inseam before ordering.

Manufacturer pages contain marketing, and marketing sometimes disagrees with the spec table an inch below it. Rather than quietly pick numbers, here is every place Eahora's own material disagrees with itself for this model, and which figure we print:
- Top speed is printed as "28+ Mph(46mph)" and Eahora nowhere explains the parenthesis. We reproduce the row as published.
- The marketing band above the sheet is headed 'High-Performance Dual Motor' and '52V 70Ah Long-Range Lithium Battery'; the spec rows say 2 × 2,000W and 52V 70Ah. Band and rows agree here.
- Battery: 52V × 70Ah = 3,640Wh, matching Eahora's printed figure. The arithmetic is ours.
- Eahora's own store carries a second Romeo Pro II listing, at a different specification (2 × 1,500W, 330 lb max load, $2,899) and a European-spec listing (2 × 125W, 20–25 mph). Neither was buyable on 2026-08-24 and neither is what this page describes. We list the bike specified at the address cited above.
- 'Rim Diameter 24" or 57.5cm' does not reconcile — 57.5 cm is 22.6 inches. Buy tires against the 26" × 4.0" spec.

Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. For freight, the carrier may call to schedule and a signature may be required.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Once an eligible return arrives we take up to 5 business days to inspect it; approved refunds issue within 14 days of completed inspection, and your bank may take a further 2–15 business days to post it.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.

How fast does the Romeo Pro II go?
Eahora's spec row says "28+ Mph(46mph)" for both pedal assist and throttle and does not explain the bracket. The natural reading is a delivered speed with a higher capability behind it. If the delivered figure matters for your state, email support@redtailebikes.com and we will get Eahora's answer in writing before you order.
Is this a Class 1, 2 or 3 e-bike?
Eahora states no class on this model's page. Its general FAQ says its e-bikes 'belong to Class 3', but Class 3 tops out at 28 mph in the three-class statutes and this bike's own row prints 46. A class is a legal conclusion under your state's law, so we do not assign one. Check your state in Redtail's e-bike law guide and ask us if it is unclear.
Why is this cheaper than the Romeo Ultra II if it carries the same 500 pounds?
Because the energy and the peak power are smaller. The Ultra II runs 60V 80Ah (4,800Wh) and two 2,500W motors; the Pro II runs 52V 70Ah (3,640Wh) and two 2,000W motors. You give up about 32% of the battery and 500W per motor, and Eahora's speed bracket drops from 50 to 46 mph. What you keep is two-wheel drive, the 500 lb rating, the frame, the brakes and the air suspension — and you charge in 6–7.5 hours instead of 8–12.
Is the battery UL certified?
Eahora publishes no certificate, standard number or issuing laboratory for this model or any other. We searched all 162 of its product pages and all eight policy pages on 2026-08-24; the only certification statement anywhere is one FAQ sentence saying its batteries are 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'. We will not present that as a certification. If you want documentation before ordering, ask and we will request it from Eahora in writing.

Can I run just one motor?
Yes. The 4-inch color display carries a motors switch, so you can run the rear alone or both together. One motor is the sensible default on flat commutes — you are not paying two motors' worth of current for traction you do not need — and both is what you want loaded, two-up, on a climb, or on a loose surface.
