Why the X7 AWD
Traction where one wheel would spin
Front and rear motors making 3600W peak and 200 N·m together mean drive keeps arriving at the wheel that still has grip. Climbing a loose fire road or pulling out of soft sand, that is a different machine from a rear-hub bike with the same headline wattage.

This is a back-road and trail machine and it is equipped like one. The 38 mph Tesway publishes sits well clear of the 20 mph threshold in the federal low-speed electric bicycle definition (15 U.S.C. § 2085(b) — pedals that work, a motor "of less than 750 watts", under 20 mph on motor power alone), so where it can be ridden is a question your state answers rather than the manufacturer. How to read this spec sheet
Where Tesway's own page prints more than one figure for the same spec, the table above carries the one we could verify twice, and this list names every such case and the figure we chose:
- One specification table covers both all-wheel-drive bikes on Tesway's site, headed "X5/X7 AWD Specifications". The figures above are that table. The X5 AWD is the same machine with a step-through frame.
- Tesway's body copy describes the motor pair two different ways. This page's copy reads "dual 2000W motors deliver a combined peak power of 3600W"; the X5 AWD's reads "dual 1000W motors combine for 3600W peak power". The specification table gives 52V 2000W rated and 3600W peak, which is what the table above carries, and the 3600W peak figure is consistent everywhere.
- A maximum-speed answer on Tesway's FAQ page gives "45 km/h" — 27.96 mph — for the X5/X7. That answer does not distinguish AWD from PRO. The per-model table does, and the 38 mph above is the AWD table's figure.
- Maximum load, 400 lb, is published on this bike's highlight strip rather than in the specification table.
- Range is Tesway's claim for ideal conditions. The 3,120 Wh behind it is arithmetic from Tesway's own published voltage and capacity, and it is checkable.
- Tesway's table spells the frame material "Aluminium Alloy" and its body copy "aluminum"; across its whole site the US spelling is its own majority usage, 17 to 5, and that is what is used above.

Its covered-component list runs to the battery, frame, forks, stem, bar, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, hubs, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, display, kickstand, reflectors and hardware.

Is the Tesway X7 AWD battery replaceable?
Yes. The 52V 60Ah pack is a separate item and we list it, together with the 58.8V 8A charger it uses. Owners doing consecutive long days usually run two packs rather than plan around a seven-hour charge.
