Two packs, visible in the frame triangle, are what separate the Pro from the rest of the line — and they roughly double the energy on board.
The K20 Pro is the top of YVY's moto line at $1,399: two motors, two 52V 20Ah batteries totalling 2,080Wh, hydraulic dual brakes and 20x4.0 tires. YVY claims up to 75 miles on throttle and 180 with pedal assist. It is the one bike in the range whose motor wattage YVY never publishes.

Who the K20 Pro is for
Buy it if
- Range above everything else. At 2,080Wh this carries more than twice the K20's energy, and that is the honest reason to pay the difference
- Riders who want a second pack anyway — buying the Pro is the built-in version of that decision, with both packs on the frame
- Long days where charging mid-ride is not an option, since a full charge is a multi-hour commitment on any bike in this line
- Anyone who wants hydraulic brakes and the moto frame with the largest drivetrain YVY offers
Look elsewhere if
- You want to know the motor's wattage before you buy. YVY does not publish one for this bike anywhere on its listing — see the note below on what its sister storefront says
- You are shopping for something inside the federal low-speed electric bicycle definition. Nothing about a dual-motor 28+ mph bike sits within it
- You need published weight. Two packs and two motors make this the heaviest bike YVY sells, and they state no figure for it
- The 180-mile claim is what is selling you. It is a best-case pedal-assist number from the manufacturer, not a measured result
Two 52V 20Ah packs — 2,080Wh on the frame
This is the whole argument for the Pro. Each pack is 52 volts by 20 amp-hours, which is 1,040 Wh; two of them make 2,080 Wh, more than double the K20's 960 Wh. That figure is our multiplication of YVY's own volts and amp-hours, and the per-pack spec is confirmed a second time on YVY's replacement-battery page, which lists the K20PRO battery as 52V 20Ah.
Two of them — and YVY never says how big
The listing describes "two powerful brushless motors" and a dual-motor, dual-battery layout, and then never states a wattage. We are not going to invent one from the sibling models. What we can tell you, attributed: the same company's Ridstar storefront titles the identical model "K20Pro 2000W Dual Motor" as of 25 August 2026. That is a different storefront's figure for the same bike, offered as context rather than as YVY's published spec.
75 miles on throttle, 180 with assist — claimed
Both figures are YVY's, and both are best-case. The 180-mile pedal-assist number assumes low assist, flat ground, a light rider and no wind, and YVY's own FAQ lists exactly those variables as the reasons your result will differ. The 2,080Wh pack is the figure to reason from: it is about 2.2 times the K20's energy, so expect roughly that ratio of real-world range, not the ratio of the marketing claims.
5 ft 4 in to 6 ft 2 in, 330 lb all-in
YVY gives the same recommended rider height and the same 330 lb maximum load as the rest of the K20 family, which share this frame. Note that the load ceiling did not rise even though the bike itself carries a second motor and a second battery, so the margin left for rider and cargo is tighter here than on the lighter models.
Where this bike sits in US law
Bikes in this power class raise one question before any other, so here is the statute rather than a summary of it. Federal law defines the category this way:
the term “low-speed electric bicycle” means a two- or three-wheeled vehicle with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of less than 750 watts (1 h.p.), whose maximum speed on a paved level surface, when powered solely by such a motor while ridden by an operator who weighs 170 pounds, is less than 20 mph.

YVY publishes this bike's motor as Dual brushless motors — wattage not published by YVY (see notes) and its top speed as 28+ mph, as printed by YVY ("28+++ mph"). Set those figures against the threshold above and you can see for yourself that the manufacturer's own numbers fall outside the federal low-speed electric bicycle definition.
What that means in practice is decided by your state, not by us. Many states apply moped, motor-driven cycle or off-highway vehicle rules to machines above the federal threshold, and those rules can reach registration, insurance, licensing, helmet requirements and which paths and trails you may use. Some states set their own wattage ceilings that differ from the federal one. We cannot tell you how your state treats this bike, and we are not going to guess: check before you ride on any public road, bike path or trail.

Green flags
- 2,080Wh is a genuinely large amount of battery — our arithmetic from YVY's own 52V and 20Ah figures, doubled for the two packs
- YVY's per-battery figure is independently corroborated on its own replacement-battery listing, which gives the K20PRO pack as 52V 20Ah
- Hydraulic dual brakes are specified, which is what you want on the heaviest bike in a range
- The dual-battery layout means you can, in principle, keep riding on one pack while the other is off the bike charging
Red flags
- No motor wattage is published for this bike on YVY's own page — the one specification a buyer of a dual-motor bike most wants, and the listing does not state it
- The "0-3 seconds to 28+++mph" acceleration claim is printed with no test conditions, no rider weight and no surface. Treat it as marketing copy
- Certification does not cover this bike. YVY links an EN 15194:2017 test report from every page, but that report names model FM-002/CDDA20, a cargo electric bicycle, and no UL 2849 or UL 2271 certification is published for anything in the range
- A second YVY listing, the "K20 Max" at $1,599, reuses this bike's hero photograph and reproduces this description verbatim — including the words "The K20Pro electric dirt bike" in its own opening line. We did not list it, because nothing on that page can be attributed to a distinct product

How to read this spec sheet
Manufacturer pages contain marketing, and marketing sometimes disagrees with the marketing an inch below it. Rather than quietly pick numbers, here is every place YVY's own page disagrees with itself for this model, every figure it leaves out, and what we did about each:
- The motor wattage is the significant gap on this page. YVY's listing describes two brushless motors and never rates them. We leave the row as "not published" rather than borrowing the K20's 1500W or doubling it, because neither would be YVY's figure.
- For context, attributed and dated: the same company's Ridstar storefront sells the identical model under the title "K20Pro 2000W Dual Motor", retrieved 25 August 2026. It is a cross-storefront figure, not a YVY specification, and we have kept it out of the table above for that reason.
- Battery energy is our arithmetic: 52 volts x 20 amp-hours x 2 packs = 2,080 Wh. YVY states the pack configuration; the watt-hour total is ours.
- The per-pack 52V 20Ah figure is corroborated independently on YVY's own replacement-battery listing, which gives the K20PRO battery as a 52V 20Ah lithium battery.
- YVY's "K20 Max" listing at $1,599 reproduces this page's description word for word — including a first line that names "The K20Pro" — and reuses this bike's hero image. We treated it as a second listing of this bike rather than a distinct product, and did not create it.
- YVY publishes no specification table for any bike. Every figure here was read out of marketing prose, with the sentence behind each recorded in research/yvy/specs_20260825.json.
- YVY links two PDFs from every page: an EN 15194:2017 test report (report ATS240329142LR, issued 2 April 2024 by Shenzhen ATS Testing Technology, for model FM-002/CDDA20, a cargo electric bicycle) and the EUIPO trade mark certificate for "Ridstar". Neither covers this model. We say so rather than let a sitewide certificate imply cover it does not give.
What we counted
We pulled YVY's entire live catalogue on 2026-08-25 — all 46 published listings — and worked out what is actually on sale. Of 13 bike listings, only 7 are distinct bikes: 6 are the same machines listed a second time, which we proved from byte-identical descriptions, shared image files and, in three cases, by opening the photographs. Six of the thirteen bike listings are the same bikes listed twice — proven by byte-identical descriptions, shared image files, and in three cases by opening the photographs. The duplicates are priced $30–$550 above the merchandised listing of the same bike. We list one page per bike, priced against the listing YVY actually merchandises.

What it covers
Defects in hardware or firmware under regular use during the warranty period. YVY states it will repair or replace, at no charge, a product or part that proves defective because of hardware malfunction under regular use and maintenance.
What you must do
- Keep proof of purchase — YVY excludes claims with no associated purchasing proof, invoice or receipt
- Report the fault inside the 1-year window; YVY dates coverage from receipt or purchase, whichever is later
- Keep the original packaging for a period after delivery, which YVY asks for directly in its product listings
Not covered
- Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in hardware or firmware
- Claims with no purchase proof, invoice or receipt, and no authorised dealer confirmation
- Return shipping when the product is found to have no quality issue, or is confirmed working by YVY's after-sales engineers
- Faults reported after the warranty period, which YVY offers to resolve at material cost instead
YVY Limited Warranty issued by YVY Bikes, as published on its warranty page. One caveat worth knowing: that page lists its “Warranted Products” as the Q20, Upgraded Q20 and Q20Pro — model names that do not appear on YVY's current storefront. The 1-year motor, battery and charger term above is therefore taken from this bike's own product listing, which states it directly. File with Redtail, not with the manufacturer: we are the merchant of record on this order and we open and carry the warranty claim on your behalf.

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.

YVY prints "28+++ mph" in pure electric mode on a full charge, and adds a "0-3 seconds" acceleration claim with no stated test conditions. Both are the manufacturer's figures rather than measured results. Either way the speed is well above the 20 mph motor-only figure in the federal low-speed electric bicycle definition.
Is a dual-motor 28 mph electric bike street legal?
That is a state question, and the federal definition is where to start. 15 U.S.C. 2085(b) defines a "low-speed electric bicycle" as having "an electric motor of less than 750 watts (1 h.p.)" and a motor-only top speed under 20 mph for a 170 lb rider. A dual-motor bike YVY rates at 28+ mph does not meet that description, and many states then apply moped or off-highway rules. Check your own state before riding on a road or bike path.
What is the difference between the K20 Pro and the K20?
Power and energy. The Pro runs two motors against the K20's single 1500W unit, and carries two 52V 20Ah packs (2,080 Wh) against one 48V 20Ah pack (960 Wh). Both have hydraulic dual brakes, 20 x 4.0 tires, dual suspension, the same rider-height range and the same 330 lb load ceiling. The Pro costs $630 more.
What about the YVY K20 Max — is that a better version?
We could not establish that it is a different bike. YVY's "K20 Max" listing at $1,599 uses this bike's hero photograph and reproduces this page's description verbatim, opening with the words "The K20Pro electric dirt bike for adults". There is no figure on that page that can be attributed to a distinct product, so we did not list it rather than sell you specifications borrowed from another model.
What height and weight does the K20 Pro fit?

Can I charge one battery while riding on the other?
