Two packs, visible in the frame triangle, are what separate the Pro from the rest of the line — and they roughly double the energy on board.

The YVY K20 Pro is the long-range pick at $1,399: two motors, two removable 52V 20Ah packs totalling 2,080Wh, hydraulic dual disc brakes and 20x4.0 tires. More than twice the energy of the standard K20. Free US shipping, a US warranty we file for you, and Shop Pay instalments at checkout.
YVY is not a separate maker. Its own company-address page names the business as "HK RIDSTAR TRADE LIMITED", its warranty page routes service to a ridstar.net support address, every page it publishes links the Ridstar trade-mark certificate, and ridstar.com runs its own "YVY Ebikes" collection. Its warranty page lists as "Warranted Products" the "YVY Q20 1200W", the "YVY Upgraded Q20 1500W" and the "YVY Q20Pro 2000W", the model family the US Consumer Product Safety Commission has told owners to stop using.
The K20 Pro is priced identically to the Ridstar Q20 Pro ($1,399 on both makers' sites) and shares its dual-motor 52V format; a published spec-for-spec match was not possible because YVY publishes no motor rating for it. No regulator's notice names this model as of September 11, 2026.
The CPSC issued two stop-use warnings on that family in 2026: March 19, "Ridstar Q20 and Q20 Pro", batteries and wires that "can ignite" (11 fires); and June 25, "Ridstar Q20 and Q20 Lite", a front wheel that "can detach without warning" (32 reports, 31 injuries). The manufacturer "has refused to agree to an acceptable recall" and "has been unresponsive". No notice names a YVY model. Whether a K-badged bike shares the front wheel, fork or battery those notices describe is published by neither company, and this page will not guess.
Before either US notice, the UK Office for Product Safety and Standards published Product Safety Report 2506-0011 on 19 June 2025 for the "Ridstar E-Bikes Q20-Plus, Q20-Mini, E26 Pro and Chargers", risk level "Serious": "the charger has poor quality soldering, and the transformer does not meet the minimum requirements for creepage and clearance distances." Its corrective measure: "The import has been rejected at the border."
Two product-liability suits over a detached Ridstar front wheel were filed in 2026 and are undecided: Cunanan v. Amazon.com Services LLC (D. Or., filed April 7, 2026) alleges a Ridstar Q20 caused "numerous facial fractures"; L.E. v. Walmart Inc. (Palm Beach County, filed July 30, 2026, removed to S.D. Fla.) alleges a Walmart-bought Ridstar's front wheel "unexpectedly detached during normal operation" and injured a minor. Both are allegations, not findings.

Why the K20 Pro
Two 52V 20Ah packs — 2,080Wh on the frame
This is the whole argument for the Pro. Each pack is 52 volts by 20 amp-hours, which is 1,040 Wh; two of them make 2,080 Wh, more than double the K20's 960 Wh. That figure is our multiplication of YVY's own volts and amp-hours, and the per-pack spec is confirmed a second time on YVY's replacement-battery page, which lists the K20PRO battery as 52V 20Ah.
Two of them — and YVY never says how big
The listing describes "two powerful brushless motors" and a dual-motor, dual-battery layout, and then never states a wattage. We are not going to invent one from the sibling models. What we can tell you, attributed: the same company's Ridstar storefront titles the identical model "K20Pro 2000W Dual Motor" as of 25 August 2026. That is a different storefront's figure for the same bike, offered as context rather than as YVY's published spec.
75 miles on throttle, 180 with assist — claimed
Both figures are YVY's, and both are best-case. The 180-mile pedal-assist number assumes low assist, flat ground, a light rider and no wind, and YVY's own FAQ lists exactly those variables as the reasons your result will differ. The 2,080Wh pack is the figure to reason from: it is about 2.2 times the K20's energy, so expect roughly that ratio of real-world range, not the ratio of the marketing claims.
5 ft 4 in to 6 ft 2 in, 330 lb all-in
YVY gives the same recommended rider height and the same 330 lb maximum load as the rest of the K20 family, which share this frame. Note that the load ceiling did not rise even though the bike itself carries a second motor and a second battery, so the margin left for rider and cargo is tighter here than on the lighter models.

Straight answers before you order
YVY does not publish a motor wattage for this bike anywhere on its own listing.
The same manufacturer's Ridstar storefront sells the identical model titled "K20Pro 2000W Dual Motor", retrieved 25 August 2026 — we report that as a cross-storefront figure rather than pass it off as YVY's spec. What is published and not in dispute is the drivetrain: two motors and 2,080Wh, the most of any bike we carry in this frame.
The "0-3 seconds" acceleration claim is printed with no test conditions.
Treat it as marketing and buy the bike on the numbers that are verifiable: two 52V 20Ah packs, hydraulic dual brakes, and a 330 lb load rating. Those we read off the manufacturer's page and they are in the spec table below.
Two packs mean two things to charge, and YVY publishes no charging time for this model.
Both packs are removable, so one charges indoors while the bike stays usable on the other — that is the practical advantage of the layout. YVY quotes about 4 to 6 hours on the single-pack bikes in the same range.

Owning it in your state
Built for trails, sand, private land and off-road riding. YVY publishes a dual-motor drivetrain and a top speed of 28+ mph. Federal law defines a "low-speed electric bicycle" as having an electric motor of less than 750 watts and a motor-only top speed under 20 mph (15 U.S.C. 2085(b)), so this bike sits outside that definition on the manufacturer's own numbers, and states differ in how they treat machines above it. - The motor wattage is the significant gap on this page. YVY's listing describes two brushless motors and never rates them. We leave the row as "not published" rather than borrowing the K20's 1500W or doubling it, because neither would be YVY's figure.

YVY claims up to 75 miles on throttle alone and up to 180 miles with pedal assist. Both are best-case manufacturer figures. The number worth reasoning from is the energy on board: two 52V 20Ah packs is 2,080 Wh, about 2.2 times the K20's 960 Wh, so a realistic expectation is roughly 2.2 times whatever the K20 does for you under the same conditions.
What is the K20 Pro's top speed?
YVY prints "28+++ mph" in pure electric mode on a full charge, and adds a "0-3 seconds" acceleration claim with no stated test conditions. Both are the manufacturer's figures rather than measured results. Either way the speed is well above the 20 mph motor-only figure in the federal low-speed electric bicycle definition.
Is a dual-motor 28 mph electric bike street legal?
That is a state question, and the federal definition is where to start. 15 U.S.C. 2085(b) defines a "low-speed electric bicycle" as having "an electric motor of less than 750 watts (1 h.p.)" and a motor-only top speed under 20 mph for a 170 lb rider. A dual-motor bike YVY rates at 28+ mph does not meet that description, and many states then apply moped or off-highway rules. Check your own state before riding on a road or bike path.
What is the difference between the K20 Pro and the K20?
Power and energy. The Pro runs two motors against the K20's single 1500W unit, and carries two 52V 20Ah packs (2,080 Wh) against one 48V 20Ah pack (960 Wh). Both have hydraulic dual brakes, 20 x 4.0 tires, dual suspension, the same rider-height range and the same 330 lb load ceiling. The Pro costs $630 more.
What about the YVY K20 Max — is that a better version?
We could not establish that it is a different bike. YVY's "K20 Max" listing at $1,599 uses this bike's hero photograph and reproduces this page's description verbatim, opening with the words "The K20Pro electric dirt bike for adults". There is no figure on that page that can be attributed to a distinct product, so we did not list it rather than sell you specifications borrowed from another model.
What height and weight does the K20 Pro fit?
