Why the Foldtan M-160
Hydraulic stops, locking fork
Mineral-oil hydraulic discs on 180mm rotors give you one-finger braking that never needs a cable tightened, and the 100mm suspension fork adjusts and locks out for smooth-road efficiency. No other Foldtan carries either.

Straight answers before you order
The M-160's battery is built in — it doesn't remove for indoor charging the way its siblings' packs do.
The bike folds to 34 inches, so the whole machine comes inside to the outlet — that's the design. Addmotor rates the pack for 1,000–1,500 cycles, and if a removable pack is a hard requirement, the M-120 carries one for $200 less. See the Foldtan M-120.
No UL certification claim appears on the M-160's page; its stat strip credits Samsung cells while its own Electronics table says only 'lithium-ion cell pack'.
We quote both lines and promote neither into a fact. If a printed UL claim is your building's or insurer's requirement, the Soletan M-66X publishes UL 2271 at $1,899. See the Soletan M-66X.
Addmotor's M-160 page publishes no rider-height window and no payload row beyond the stat strip's 300 lb.

Delivery protection
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Trikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Addmotor's own return policy applies when you buy direct: 14 days, under 10 miles on the odometer, and a condition-based 10–30% restocking fee they set after inspection. How to read this spec sheet
Where Addmotor's own page prints more than one figure for the same spec, the table above carries the one we could verify twice, and this list names every such case and the figure we chose:
- Battery description conflicts on Addmotor's own page: the stat strip says 'Samsung Battery 48V*20Ah'; the Electronics table says 'Built-In 48V*20Ah Lithium-ion Cell Pack' with no brand. Both are quoted; neither is promoted.
- No UL certification claim appears anywhere on the M-160's page — stated as published.
- No rider-height window is published for the M-160; we print the sizing rows that exist and invent nothing.
- The 105-mile figure is a PAS-1 claim and an estimate under Addmotor's policy.
