A longtail is heavy by design — the frame has to carry 450 pounds. The dual-leg kickstand takes the weight while you load, the low-step frame means you never lift a leg over a loaded bike, and dual motors mean the weight is not something you pedal away yourself.
A 120 mm fork at the front and nothing at the rear, where the X5 and X7 AWD are sprung at both ends.
On a cargo bike the load sits over the rear wheel and a sprung rear moves under it; a rigid rear keeps a heavy load settled and predictable. The fork locks out too, so you can firm the front up when the road is good and the bike is full.

A longtail built for school runs, errands and weekend loads. Tesway publishes 38 mph, which is a ceiling rather than a cruising speed on a loaded cargo bike — and it is above the 20 mph the federal low-speed electric bicycle definition uses (15 U.S.C. § 2085(b) — fully operable pedals, a motor "of less than 750 watts", under 20 mph on motor power alone). Where Tesway's own page prints more than one figure for the same spec, the table above carries the one we could verify twice, and this list names every such case and the figure we chose:
- This bike has its own specification table, headed "C5 AWD Specifications" — it is the only model in the range Tesway does not pair with another on one table, and it is the only one whose table carries a payload row.
- The suspension is a 120 mm lockout fork at the front only. The X5 and X7 AWD, which share this bike's motor and battery, are sprung at both ends.
- Tesway's PDP for this bike carries no UL statement of any kind, unlike its four other models, so no certification claim is made on this page.
- Tesway's table prints the frame as "Aluminium Alloy"; its body copy for this bike specifies "6061 aluminum frame", and the more specific US-spelled figure is used.
- Range figures are Tesway's claims and are quoted for the bike unloaded. A 450 lb payload rating and a 200-mile range claim do not describe the same ride.

Its covered-component list runs to the battery, frame, forks, stem, bar, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, hubs, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, display, kickstand, reflectors and hardware.
