The Romeo Pro III pairs Eahora's largest pack — 4,800Wh, 60V 80Ah — with dual hub motors rated at 2,800W peak each and a 500 lb load rating, and it is the only big Romeo whose published top speed stays inside the 28 mph class ceiling: Eahora prints 25–28 mph, with no unlocked figure in brackets. Eahora had no colorway in stock on 2026-08-24 and publishes no compare-at price for it, so treat $3,499 as its list price and ask us before you plan around a delivery date.

4,800 watt-hours, the biggest Eahora sells
A 60V 80Ah pack of Grade A lithium-ion pouch cells rated at 1,200 charge cycles to 80% of capacity, shared with the Romeo Ultra II. Eahora claims 104–235 miles with pedal assist and 70–76 on throttle alone. Sixty volts times eighty amp-hours is 4,800 watt-hours, which is what Eahora prints and what we recomputed.
A speed row that reads plainly
Eahora publishes 25–28 mph for both pedal assist and throttle — a straightforward range, with none of the bracketed second figures that appear on the Romeo II, Pro, Pro II, Ultra and Ultra II. On a bike this size that is the more useful disclosure, because it is the number your state's statute will care about.
Rated to 500 pounds
The highest load rating Eahora publishes, matched only by the Romeo Pro II and the Romeo Ultra II, and covering rider plus cargo together. The steel 26" × 18" frame and dual hub motors are what stand behind it, and the 28–33 psi tire pressure Eahora specifies is part of the rating.
240mm rotors with motor cutoff
Hydraulic disc brakes on 240mm × 3.0mm steel rotors with two-piston calipers and semi-metallic pads, and motor cutoff on both levers. A 2,500-lumen 25W headlight with a built-in horn and a brake-signalling tail light complete the safety hardware.
Adjustable air at both ends
An adjustable air fork with 100mm of travel and a damped 50mm air shock at the rear. Air springs matter most on a bike whose load can vary by hundreds of pounds — sag set for you alone is the wrong setting for you plus a passenger, and air lets you change it.

- The published top speed is a plain range, 25–28 mph, with no bracketed second figure — the only big Romeo where the speed row does not need interpreting
- 500 lb load rating and 1,200 published charge cycles to 80% capacity, both stated rather than implied
- Full component-level specification: 240mm × 3.0mm rotors, semi-metallic pads, Shimano RD-TY300 and MF-TZ500-7, WELLGO pedals, 12-gauge stainless spokes
Red flags
- Nothing was buyable on 2026-08-24 — all three colorways showed unavailable on both of the Eahora endpoints we read
- Eahora publishes no compare-at price for this model, unlike almost every other bike in its range, so there is no manufacturer reference point for the $3,499 figure
- No certification is published for this model — no standard number, no certificate, no issuer
- Motor power is published as peak only — '2 x 2,800 Watt Peak' — with no sustained rating anywhere on the page. Peak is what a motor survives briefly; sustained is what it holds on a climb, and that figure is simply not disclosed
- No geometry block is published for this bike at all. Every other current Eahora bike except the XC200 has one
- Eahora's warranty coverage table gives 24 months on the frame while the same page states a one-year claims deadline. Plan around 12 months
Speed and the law — read this before you buy
Eahora publishes this bike's top speed as 25–28 mph for both pedal assist and throttle, and states no class on this model's page. That upper figure sits at, rather than above, the 28 mph ceiling most US states use in their three-class definitions — which makes this the least ambiguous bike in the big-Romeo range. It is still not a class designation: several states also limit throttle assistance to 20 mph regardless of the pedal-assist ceiling, and a 173 lb machine rated to 500 lb may face separate rules on paths and trails. Eahora's FAQ page claims generally that its e-bikes 'belong to Class 3'; we do not repeat that as this bike's class. Check your own state before you ride.

How to read this spec sheet
Manufacturer pages contain marketing, and marketing sometimes disagrees with the spec table an inch below it. Rather than quietly pick numbers, here is every place Eahora's own material disagrees with itself for this model, and which figure we print:
- Motor power is published as peak only: '2 x 2,800 Watt Peak'. No sustained or rated wattage appears anywhere on the page, in the marketing bands, or in the spec table. That is an absence we looked for rather than assumed, and it means the peak figure cannot be compared like-for-like with the sustained ratings Eahora publishes for the Romeo Pro and Romeo Ultra.
- Torque is 2 × 100 N·m here, lower than the Romeo Ultra II's 2 × 125 N·m despite a higher peak wattage. Both figures are Eahora's own.
- Battery: 60V × 80Ah = 4,800Wh, matching Eahora's printed figure. The arithmetic is ours.
- Eahora publishes no Size & Geometry block for this model — the only current bike in its range apart from the XC200 with none. We have not substituted another Romeo's figures; the section is simply absent because the source is.
- Eahora publishes no compare-at price for this model, so the $3,499 figure has no manufacturer reference price beside it.
- Availability: all three colorways read unavailable on both Eahora endpoints on 2026-08-24.
- Warranty: Eahora's coverage table (published only as an image) gives 24 months on the frame; the same page states a one-year claims deadline. Both are Eahora's; we print both.
What Eahora publishes about certification

Eahora could sell 27 of its own 61 published bike configurations on the pull date — 44%. Eleven of its 26 bike models had no buyable colorway at all. Availability, not price, is the live constraint on this catalog. This listing mirrors that feed: we list the configurations Eahora can actually supply, at Eahora's own price, and we re-sync rather than guess.

Eahora's stated remedy is free replacement parts shipped within the continental U.S.; only bikes it judges unrepairable (its example is a severely broken frame) go back for inspection, and Eahora provides the label in that case.

- Normal wear and tear — tires, brake pads, chains and other consumables (Eahora's own wording)
- Damage from misuse, accidents, modifications, improper maintenance, or non-original parts
- Water damage, extreme weather, and force-majeure events
- Second-hand owners and commercial use
- Damage from crashes, overloading, stunts, or unauthorized repairs
- The battery housing (the cells and their measured capacity are covered; the case is not)
- A second motor replacement — Eahora charges for replacement and freight once a motor has already been replaced under warranty
- Eahora's warranty page sets a 24-month frame period in its coverage table, then closes with 'Claims deadline: 1 year from purchase date.' The two statements are on the same page and are not reconciled anywhere on it. We print both and treat 12 months as the figure to plan around; if you need the frame claim in year two, tell us and we will put it to Eahora in writing before you order.
- Eahora's own storefront header advertises '1 Year Warranty', which matches the claims deadline rather than the 24-month frame row.
Eahora Limited Warranty issued by Eahora, as published on its warranty page — where the coverage table is posted as an image rather than as text, so every row above was read off that image on 2026-08-24 and kept on file. Send photos or video of the issue with your order number and we take it from there — Redtail files and manages the claim with Eahora on your behalf.

Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. For freight, the carrier may call to schedule and a signature may be required.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Once an eligible return arrives we take up to 5 business days to inspect it; approved refunds issue within 14 days of completed inspection, and your bank may take a further 2–15 business days to post it.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and remote areas may incur extra charges or be excluded — contact us before ordering. Can I buy the Romeo Pro III right now?
Not on the evidence we have. All three of Eahora's published colorways — Black, Gray and Green — read unavailable on both endpoints we checked on 2026-08-24. We list it because it is a real model in Eahora's catalog, and showing you the specification alongside the honest stock position is more useful than leaving the page off the site. Email support@redtailebikes.com and we will ask Eahora when it is due and tell you what they say.
How fast is it, and is it a Class 3?
Eahora publishes 25–28 mph for both pedal assist and throttle — a plain range with no bracketed second figure, unlike most of the Romeo family. That upper number sits at the 28 mph ceiling the three-class statutes use rather than above it. Eahora still states no class on this model's page, and several states cap throttle assistance at 20 mph separately from the pedal-assist ceiling, so we do not assign one. What is the actual motor power?
Eahora publishes '2 x 2,800 Watt Peak' and no sustained figure at all — we searched the spec table, the marketing bands and the page copy. Peak wattage is what a motor tolerates briefly; sustained wattage is what it holds on a long climb, and it is the number that would let you compare this bike with the Romeo Ultra's published 3,000W sustained. That comparison cannot be made on published data, and we are not going to estimate it for you.
How is this different from the Romeo Ultra II?
Same 4,800Wh battery, same 500 lb load rating, same frame, brakes and suspension, and $100 less. The differences Eahora publishes are the motors — 2 × 2,800W peak with 100 N·m here against 2 × 2,500W with 125 N·m on the Ultra II — and the speed row, which reads 25–28 mph here and "28+ Mph(50mph)" there. The Ultra II is also in stock, and this one is not.
Is the battery UL certified?
Eahora publishes no certificate, standard number or issuing laboratory for this model or any other. We searched all 162 of its product pages and all eight policy pages on 2026-08-24; the only certification statement anywhere is one FAQ sentence saying its batteries are 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'. We will not present that as a certification. If you want documentation before ordering, ask and we will request it from Eahora in writing.
What warranty applies, and who handles a claim?
Eahora's published terms: 24 months on the frame, 12 on the fork, motor and battery, 6 on the controller, 3 on the charger, display, tires, saddle and other parts. Its page also states a one-year claims deadline, which is the figure to plan around.
