The Luna II is the dual-motor Luna: two 500W motors at 50 N·m each, a 960Wh 48V 20Ah pack — a third more energy than the Luna's — and the same 91 lb step-through chassis, fat tires and four-bar-link rear suspension. Eahora claims 45–62 miles with pedal assist and publishes a top speed of 28–33 mph. Black was in stock at Eahora on 2026-08-24; White was not. $999 to match their price.

- Commuters on mixed surfaces — dual drive helps most where grip is marginal, which is exactly where a 20-inch fat tire is already working hard
- Step-through riders who want a light bike: 91 lb, the same as the single-motor Luna despite the extra motor and battery
Look elsewhere if
- You want torque. Two 50 N·m motors is 100 N·m combined — less than the single 90 N·m motor on the cheaper Luna feels at the wheel, because that one is not splitting its work
- You need to charge quickly: a 48V 2A charger with no published charge time, filling a bigger pack than the Luna's
- You want certification documents — Eahora publishes none for this or any model
- You need an unambiguous bicycle in your state — the published 28–33 mph tops out above the class ceiling
Two motors for a thousand dollars
Eahora's marketing band reads 'Dual 500W High-Torque DC Motors' and its spec rows give 2 × 500W and 2 × 50 N·m. This is the cheapest dual-motor bike in its catalog by $1,300. Where two motors earn their keep is grip rather than outright speed — wet leaves, gravel, a loose driveway — and that is honest to say rather than dress up as performance.
960 watt-hours, a third more than the Luna
A 48V 20Ah pack rated at 1,200 charge cycles to 80% capacity, with a claimed 45–62 miles on pedal assist and 38–46 on throttle. Against the Luna's 720Wh that is a third more energy for $200, which is the clearest value step in the whole Eahora range.
Two motors, no weight penalty
Eahora publishes 91 lb for both the Luna and the Luna II, battery installed — the extra motor and the extra 5Ah apparently cost nothing on the scales. Both are the lightest bikes in its current range, and the only two a single adult can comfortably handle alone.
Four-bar linkage, coil both ends
An 80mm coil fork and a 4-bar-link coil rear with 50mm of travel — the same layout Eahora uses on bikes at three times the price. On 20-inch wheels, where every pothole is a bigger event than it would be on 26s, the rear linkage is doing real work.
Low step, adjustable seat
A 20" × 15" steel step-through frame with a 24.2-inch standover and a seat adjustable across 32.3 to 40.2 inches. Eahora's published fit range is 5'4" to 6'1", and unusually for this catalog the spec sheet and the geometry block agree on it.

- The charger is 48V 2A and no charge time is published, on a pack a third bigger than the Luna's
- Two-piston calipers on 180mm × 2.3mm rotors, the thinnest Eahora fits

Speed and the law — read this before you buy
Eahora publishes this bike's top speed as 28–33 mph for both pedal assist and throttle, and states no class on this model's page. The top of that range is above the 28 mph ceiling the three-class statutes use, and a machine assisting past that ceiling is generally regulated as something other than a bicycle — which can change where you may ride it and whether a license, registration, insurance or helmet is required. Eahora's FAQ page makes a general claim that its e-bikes 'belong to Class 3'; that claim is not repeated here. We print Eahora's number and leave the legal conclusion to your state's statute.

How to read this spec sheet
Manufacturer pages contain marketing, and marketing sometimes disagrees with the spec table an inch below it. Rather than quietly pick numbers, here is every place Eahora's own material disagrees with itself for this model, and which figure we print:
- Motor count: Eahora's power row says '2 x 500 Watt', its torque row says '2 x 50 Newton·meter', and its marketing band says 'Dual 500W High-Torque DC Motors' — but its motor-type row says 'Brushless rear hub motor', singular and rear. Three statements to one, so we print dual motors. If a front motor is decisive for you, ask us and we will confirm with Eahora before you order.
- Eahora publishes no charge time for this model — only '48V 2A charger'. Two amps into a 48-volt pack is roughly 96 watts, which is the slowest charger in its catalog by a wide margin. We are not going to print an estimate as if it were a specification: the charge time is simply not disclosed, and we will ask Eahora for it in writing if you need the number before ordering.
- Eahora's ingress-protection ratings are inconsistent between the Luna and Terra pages: the Luna gives IP65 for overall use and IPX6 for the motor, while the Terra gives IPX6 for overall use and IP65 for the motor. Both are Eahora's own rows. IPX6 rates water jets but makes no dust claim; IP65 rates dust-tight plus low-pressure jets. We print each page's own figures rather than harmonise them.
- Top speed is published as a plain 28–33 mph range with no bracketed second figure.
- Battery: 48V × 20Ah = 960Wh, matching Eahora's printed figure. The arithmetic is ours.
- Availability: White read unavailable on both Eahora endpoints on 2026-08-24, so it is not listed here.
- Warranty: Eahora's coverage table (published only as an image) gives 24 months on the frame; the same page states a one-year claims deadline. Both are Eahora's; we print both.
What Eahora publishes about certification

- Eahora's warranty page sets a 24-month frame period in its coverage table, then closes with 'Claims deadline: 1 year from purchase date.' The two statements are on the same page and are not reconciled anywhere on it. We print both and treat 12 months as the figure to plan around; if you need the frame claim in year two, tell us and we will put it to Eahora in writing before you order.
- Eahora's own storefront header advertises '1 Year Warranty', which matches the claims deadline rather than the 24-month frame row.

Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. For freight, the carrier may call to schedule and a signature may be required.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Once an eligible return arrives we take up to 5 business days to inspect it; approved refunds issue within 14 days of completed inspection, and your bank may take a further 2–15 business days to post it.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and remote areas may incur extra charges or be excluded — contact us before ordering. Frequently asked questions
Is the Luna II really a dual-motor bike?
Everything except one row says yes. The power row reads '2 x 500 Watt', the torque row '2 x 50 Newton·meter', and the marketing band above the sheet 'Dual 500W High-Torque DC Motors'. The motor-type row, however, reads 'Brushless rear hub motor' — singular, and specifying the rear. We print dual because three statements outweigh one, and we flag it because you should know the page is not internally consistent. If having a front motor is decisive, ask us and we will confirm with Eahora before you order.
Luna or Luna II?
Two hundred dollars buys a third more battery — 960Wh against 720Wh — and a second motor. What it does not buy is more torque at the wheel: two 50 N·m motors is 100 N·m nominal against the Luna's single 90 N·m unit, and split drive is about traction rather than shove. If you ride wet or loose surfaces, take the Luna II. If you ride dry pavement and want the most torque per dollar, the Luna is honestly the better buy.
How long does it take to charge?
Eahora does not publish a figure for this model — the spec sheet gives '48V 2A charger' and no time. Two amps at 48 volts is roughly 96 watts going into a 960Wh pack, which is slow, but we are not going to print an estimate as if it were a specification. Ask us and we will get the number from Eahora in writing before you order.
How fast does it go, and is it a Class 3?
Eahora publishes 28–33 mph for both pedal assist and throttle. The top of that range is above the 28 mph class ceiling, so we do not call it Class 3 and neither does its own page. Check your state's rule in Redtail's e-bike law guide before you order.
Two motors and no extra weight — how?
We can only tell you what Eahora publishes, which is 91 lb with the battery installed for both the Luna and the Luna II. That is the same figure despite an extra motor and 5Ah more cells, and it may well be a rounded number carried across both pages rather than two separate weighings. We have not put either bike on a scale, and we would rather say that than pretend the coincidence is a finding.
Is the battery UL certified?
Eahora publishes no certificate, standard number or issuing laboratory for this model or any other. We searched all 162 of its product pages and all eight policy pages on 2026-08-24; the only certification statement anywhere is one FAQ sentence saying its batteries are 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'. We will not present that as a certification. If you want documentation before ordering, ask and we will request it from Eahora in writing.
What warranty applies, and who handles a claim?
Eahora's published terms: 24 months on the frame, 12 on the fork, motor and battery, 6 on the controller, 3 on the charger, display, tires, saddle and other parts. Its page also states a one-year claims deadline, which is the figure to plan around.
