The Luna is Eahora's cheapest bike and its most straightforward: a 1,000W rear hub (1,500W peak, 90 N·m), a 720Wh 48V 15Ah pack, 20" × 4.0" CST fat tires, and coil suspension at both ends on a 91 lb step-through frame. Eahora claims 44–58 miles with pedal assist and publishes a top speed of 28–33 mph. Black was in stock at Eahora on 2026-08-24; White was not. $799 to match their price.

The cheapest bike Eahora makes
At $799 the Luna undercuts everything else in the catalog, and it does it without dropping the things that matter structurally: hydraulic disc brakes with motor cutoff, coil suspension front and rear, 20-inch fat tires and a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain. What you give up against the rest of the range is battery size and charging speed, not the bike underneath.
Four-bar linkage at $799
An 80mm coil fork and a 4-bar-link coil rear shock with 50mm of travel. A four-bar linkage keeps the rear axle path more consistent under braking and pedalling than a single pivot does, and finding one at this price is rare — Eahora uses the same layout on bikes costing three times as much.
720 watt-hours, honestly small
A 48V 15Ah pack rated at 1,200 charge cycles to 80% of capacity, with a claimed 44–58 miles on pedal assist and 35–45 on throttle alone. It is the smallest pack Eahora sells and the page does not pretend otherwise; the assisted and throttle figures are close together, which reads as a measured claim rather than an optimistic one.
CST BFT fat tires, named
20" × 4.0" CST BFT tires at 28–33 psi. Naming the tire matters more than it sounds: it means you can price and source an exact replacement instead of guessing at a casing, and CST is a real manufacturer with a real catalog behind it.
Step over, then set the seat
A 20" × 15" steel step-through frame with a 24.2-inch standover and a seat adjustable from 32.3 to 40.2 inches, at 91 lb — the lightest bike in Eahora's current range. It is the one model here a single person can reasonably wrestle onto a car rack.
The honest ledger
Green flags
- 48V × 15Ah = 720Wh, exactly as printed, and all 25 watt-hour claims across Eahora's catalog recompute correctly
- Full suspension at $799 — an 80mm coil fork and a 4-bar-link coil rear with 50mm of travel. A four-bar linkage at this price is genuinely unusual
- Named tires (CST BFT 20" × 4.0") and a 48T chainring for a taller top gear, both specified rather than left generic
- Hydraulic discs with motor cutoff and a 1,500-lumen headlight with a built-in horn — the safety basics ship on the bike
Red flags
- The charger is 48V 2A and no charge time is published anywhere on the page. That is roughly 96 watts going in, the slowest charging in Eahora's range
- Two-piston calipers on 180mm × 2.3mm rotors — the thinnest rotors Eahora fits. Its own Terra, a near-identical bike for $100 more, gets four-piston calipers on the same disc
- No certification is published for this model — no standard number, no certificate, no issuer
- The published 28–33 mph exceeds the 28 mph ceiling the three-class statutes use, and Eahora claims no class on this model's page
- Ingress-protection ratings are inconsistent between the Luna and Terra pages — see the notes
- White was unavailable on 2026-08-24, so only Black is listed here
Speed and the law — read this before you buy
Eahora publishes this bike's top speed as 28–33 mph for both pedal assist and throttle, and states no class on this model's page. The top of that range is above the 28 mph ceiling the three-class statutes use, and a machine assisting past that ceiling is generally regulated as something other than a bicycle — which can change where you may ride it and whether a license, registration, insurance or helmet is required. Eahora's FAQ page makes a general claim that its e-bikes 'belong to Class 3'; that claim is not repeated here. We print Eahora's number and leave the legal conclusion to your state's statute.

How to read this spec sheet
Manufacturer pages contain marketing, and marketing sometimes disagrees with the spec table an inch below it. Rather than quietly pick numbers, here is every place Eahora's own material disagrees with itself for this model, and which figure we print:
- Eahora publishes no charge time for this model — only '48V 2A charger'. Two amps into a 48-volt pack is roughly 96 watts, which is the slowest charger in its catalog by a wide margin. We are not going to print an estimate as if it were a specification: the charge time is simply not disclosed, and we will ask Eahora for it in writing if you need the number before ordering.
- Eahora's ingress-protection ratings are inconsistent between the Luna and Terra pages: the Luna gives IP65 for overall use and IPX6 for the motor, while the Terra gives IPX6 for overall use and IP65 for the motor. Both are Eahora's own rows. IPX6 rates water jets but makes no dust claim; IP65 rates dust-tight plus low-pressure jets. We print each page's own figures rather than harmonise them.
- Top speed is published as a plain 28–33 mph range with no bracketed second figure.
- Battery: 48V × 15Ah = 720Wh, matching Eahora's printed figure. The arithmetic is ours.
- The Luna and the Terra publish the same frame, battery, motor, suspension, display and drivetrain. The differences Eahora publishes are the brake calipers (2-piston here, 4-piston on the Terra), the tire brand and the ingress ratings — and $100.
- Availability: White read unavailable on both Eahora endpoints on 2026-08-24, so it is not listed here.
- Warranty: Eahora's coverage table (published only as an image) gives 24 months on the frame; the same page states a one-year claims deadline. Both are Eahora's; we print both.

- Eahora's own storefront header advertises '1 Year Warranty', which matches the claims deadline rather than the 24-month frame row.

Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. For freight, the carrier may call to schedule and a signature may be required.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Once an eligible return arrives we take up to 5 business days to inspect it; approved refunds issue within 14 days of completed inspection, and your bank may take a further 2–15 business days to post it.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and remote areas may incur extra charges or be excluded — contact us before ordering. Frequently asked questions
How long does the Luna take to charge?
Eahora does not say, and we are not going to invent a figure. Its spec sheet gives '48V 2A charger' and no charge time — the only current Eahora model where the time is simply absent. Two amps at 48 volts is roughly 96 watts, so a 720Wh pack would need many hours at that rate, but a real charge curve tapers and we have not measured one. If the number matters before you order, ask us and we will get it from Eahora in writing.
How fast does it go, and is it a Class 3?
Eahora publishes 28–33 mph for both pedal assist and throttle. The top of that range is above the 28 mph class ceiling, so we do not call it Class 3 and neither does its own page. Check your state's rule in Redtail's e-bike law guide before you order, and ask us if it is unclear.
Luna or Terra?
They are the same bike on almost every published figure — same 20" × 15" frame, same 720Wh 48V 15Ah battery, same 1,000W motor, same suspension, same display, same 48T drivetrain, same 91 lb. What Eahora publishes differently is the brakes (this bike gets two-piston calipers, the Terra gets four on the same rotor) and the tire brand. The Terra is $100 more. If you ride hills or carry weight, the four-piston brakes are worth the hundred dollars.
Is 720 watt-hours enough?
For most commuting, yes; for touring, no. Eahora claims 44–58 miles with pedal assist and 35–45 on throttle alone, and those two figures being close together is a good sign — an optimistic range claim usually shows up as a large assisted number beside a much smaller throttle one. If your daily round trip is under 20 miles you will charge twice a week. If it is 40, look at the 2,880Wh Juliet instead.
Can one person lift it?
At 91 lb it is the lightest bike Eahora currently sells, and the battery comes out to make it lighter still. That is manageable for one reasonably strong adult onto a hitch rack, and awkward but possible up a short flight of steps. It is not a bike to carry up to a third-floor apartment every night.
Is the battery UL certified?
Eahora publishes no certificate, standard number or issuing laboratory for this model or any other. We searched all 162 of its product pages and all eight policy pages on 2026-08-24; the only certification statement anywhere is one FAQ sentence saying its batteries are 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'. We will not present that as a certification. If you want documentation before ordering, ask and we will request it from Eahora in writing.
What warranty applies, and who handles a claim?
Eahora's published terms: 24 months on the frame, 12 on the fork, motor and battery, 6 on the controller, 3 on the charger, display, tires, saddle and other parts. Its page also states a one-year claims deadline, which is the figure to plan around.
