Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. Trikes ship large; an adult signature is required at delivery.
Delivery protection
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Trikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Addmotor's own return policy applies when you buy direct: 14 days, under 10 miles on the odometer, and a condition-based 10–30% restocking fee they set after inspection. Where Addmotor's own page prints more than one figure for the same spec, the table above carries the one we could verify twice, and this list names every such case and the figure we chose:
- Addmotor's M-140 page publishes no rider-height window; the sizing rows above (standover, seat and bar heights) are what it states, and we don't invent the window.
- The 105-mile figure is a PAS-1 claim and an estimate under Addmotor's own policy.
- UL 2271 appears on the stat strip for the 20Ah pack; no UL 2849 whole-system claim appears.
