Two checks before you order the Silverado HD

1. Your weight and cargo. Rider plus cargo: 330 lb at most, with 11 lb (5 kg) in the front basket. Call (213) 444-4020 and we'll go through the higher-rated trikes we sell with you.
2. Your height. The step-through is 14 inches, and the seat goes from 32 inches up to 38.

The Silverado HD costs the same $2,899 as the Addmotor Grandtan X, which adds full suspension; the U-Trike U-710 is rated for more range at $200 less, and the Zeus costs $900 less, with the same tire size on a frame that does not fold.

1. Battery energy is computed from DWMEIGI's published 48 V and 14 Ah: 48 × 14 = 672 Wh.
2. DWMEIGI's comparison table elsewhere on its site lists 25 mph for the MG2301; this row uses the 20 mph on the Silverado HD's own product page.
3. DWMEIGI's MG2301 Silverado HD product page lists a 400 lb maximum load; the Folding Trike user manual linked from it gives 330 lb, which this page uses.

The Silverado HD's figures, 750 W and at least 20 mph, are at or above the definition's limits.

From DWMEIGI's Folding Trike user manual: “Don’t let children under the age of 18 ride the bike.”

For a trike under both federal figures, the DWMEIGI MG708 Hera is rated 350 W and 15 mph, on 24-inch tires and a frame that does not fold.

Frequently asked questions

Add-ons for the Silverado HD

For a longer day and puncture protection, add: 48 V, 14 Ah battery ($499) and Tannus Armour tire insert ($69). The rear bag and backrest saddle are already in its box, in the Folding Trike manual's parts list; the Tannus insert is sized for 20-inch tires 3.0 to 4.0 inches wide.

What's next after you order

Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days, and most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after that, depending on where you live. You get a tracking number by email when the Silverado HD ships.
