The P5 II is the P5 done properly: the same magnesium-alloy 24-inch platform and 960Wh expandable pack, but with a 1,500W motor at 102 N·m instead of 750W at 85, 203mm hydraulic brakes instead of 180mm mechanical ones, and a wireless CAN display. 203mm hydraulic, and that is the headline
Eahora's row reads '203MM front and rear oil brakes' — hydraulic, on rotors 23mm larger than either cheaper P5's. Both cheaper P5s use 180mm cable-actuated discs. Hydraulic actuation means less hand force and no cable stretch; a bigger rotor means more leverage and better heat shedding. On an 85 lb bike this is the upgrade to pay for.
1,500 watts, 102 newton-meters
A 1,500W DC hub motor with cassette drive and a rated 102 N·m, twice the power and a fifth more torque than the 750W P5. Eahora pairs it with a 48V 35 ± 1A, 12-MOSFET controller. Rated torque rather than peak is the more honest figure to publish, and it is what Eahora gives.
Wireless, on a CAN bus
A B04C display that Eahora describes as wireless with CAN. Fewer wires through the headset is fewer connectors to corrode, and CAN is a more robust and better-diagnosable bus than the simple serial links common at this price. It is the only display in Eahora's range described this way.
Magnesium alloy
A magnesium-alloy frame in a 24" × 18" size — the only frame material in Eahora's catalog that is not high-carbon steel. Lighter than steel for the same stiffness and immune to rust, which is a durability advantage that needs no maintenance from you.
960 watt-hours, expandable
A 48V 20Ah pack with, in Eahora's words, an extra 15Ah battery available to add — roughly 1,680Wh if you want it later. Eahora does not publish where the second pack mounts or what it costs, so treat the expansion as a question to settle before you buy rather than a specification.

- 203mm hydraulic disc brakes, where both cheaper P5s use 180mm mechanical ones — bigger rotors and hydraulic actuation, the two upgrades that matter most on a heavy bike
- 1,500W and 102 N·m against the P5's 750W and 85 N·m: double the power and a fifth more torque for $300–600 more
- 48V × 20Ah = 960Wh, exactly as printed, and all 25 watt-hour claims across Eahora's catalog recompute correctly
- A wireless B04C display with CAN bus — fewer cables through the headset is genuinely fewer things to fail, and CAN is a more robust protocol than the simple serial links most budget e-bikes use
Red flags
- No top-speed figure is published for this model anywhere, despite the page claiming a class that is defined by a speed
- No battery cycle life is published, where most of Eahora's range states ≥1,000 or ≥1,200 cycles
- No fenders and no powered tail light — Eahora specifies a rear reflector only, on a bike sold for commuting
- The geometry block's rim-diameter row gives a 20-inch-bike figure on a 24-inch bike
- No certification is published for this or any Eahora model
- Eahora's controller is rated 48V 35 ± 1A here against the P5's 25 ± 1A — worth knowing, because a higher-current controller is what turns 1,500W into heat if the wiring is marginal, and Eahora publishes no wire gauge
Speed and the law — read this before you buy
This is one of only four Eahora models that states a class on its own page: its spec row reads 'Class 3 ebike with 5-level pedal assist and throttle.' Two things are worth knowing before you rely on it. First, Eahora publishes no top-speed figure for this model at all — the row simply is not there — so the 28 mph pedal-assist ceiling that defines Class 3 cannot be checked against a published number. Second, in many states Class 3 is defined as pedal-assist only, with throttle assistance capped at 20 mph separately; a bike offering both to the same ceiling may not meet that definition where you live. A class is a conclusion under your state's statute rather than a manufacturer's label, so read your own state's rule in Redtail's law guide, and ask us if it is not clear.

How to read this spec sheet
Manufacturer pages contain marketing, and marketing sometimes disagrees with the spec table an inch below it. Rather than quietly pick numbers, here is every place Eahora's own material disagrees with itself for this model, and which figure we print:
- The P5 II is the only bike on this platform with hydraulic brakes. Eahora's row reads '203MM front and rear oil brakes'; 'oil brake' is the common Chinese-English term for a hydraulic disc brake. Both cheaper P5s use 180mm mechanical (cable) discs.
- The geometry block gives 'Rim Diameter 16.4" or 42CM' while the tire row specifies 24" × 4.0". A 24-inch tire does not mount on a 16.4-inch rim; buy parts against the tire row.
- Eahora publishes no top-speed figure for this model — an absence we looked for rather than assumed. It states a class instead.
- Eahora publishes no battery cycle life for this model, where most of its range states ≥1,000 or ≥1,200 cycles.
- Battery: 48V × 20Ah = 960Wh, matching Eahora's printed figure. The arithmetic is ours.
- Eahora lists two other P5s — 'P5 Plus' at $999 and 'P5' at $1,299 — whose published specifications are identical to each other but materially different from this bike's (750W against 1,500W, mechanical against hydraulic brakes).
- Warranty: Eahora's coverage table (published only as an image) gives 24 months on the frame; the same page states a one-year claims deadline. Both are Eahora's; we print both.

Eahora's stated remedy is free replacement parts shipped within the continental U.S.; only bikes it judges unrepairable (its example is a severely broken frame) go back for inspection, and Eahora provides the label in that case.

- Eahora's warranty page sets a 24-month frame period in its coverage table, then closes with 'Claims deadline: 1 year from purchase date.' The two statements are on the same page and are not reconciled anywhere on it. We print both and treat 12 months as the figure to plan around; if you need the frame claim in year two, tell us and we will put it to Eahora in writing before you order.
- Eahora's own storefront header advertises '1 Year Warranty', which matches the claims deadline rather than the 24-month frame row.
Eahora Limited Warranty issued by Eahora, as published on its warranty page — where the coverage table is posted as an image rather than as text, so every row above was read off that image on 2026-08-24 and kept on file. Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. For freight, the carrier may call to schedule and a signature may be required.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Once an eligible return arrives we take up to 5 business days to inspect it; approved refunds issue within 14 days of completed inspection, and your bank may take a further 2–15 business days to post it.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and remote areas may incur extra charges or be excluded — contact us before ordering. Frequently asked questions
What do I get for the extra money over the P5?
Two things that matter and one that is nice. The motor doubles from 750W to 1,500W and torque rises from 85 to 102 N·m; the brakes go from 180mm mechanical to 203mm hydraulic, which is the bigger real-world upgrade on an 85 lb bike; and the display becomes a wireless CAN unit. Frame, battery, wheels, suspension, drivetrain and weight are the same. If you only upgrade one thing on this platform, make it the brakes — which means making it this bike.
How fast does it go?
Eahora does not publish a top speed for any P5. Its spec sheet states 'Class 3 ebike with 5-level pedal assist and throttle' and gives no mph figure in the spec table or the marketing bands — we looked rather than assumed. If the number matters for your state, ask us and we will get it from Eahora in writing before you order.
Is it a Class 3 e-bike?
Eahora says so on this model's own page, which puts it among only four of its 26 bikes that state a class at all. Whether that holds where you live is a separate question: many states define Class 3 as pedal-assist only with throttle capped at 20 mph, and this bike offers both. A class is a conclusion under your state's statute rather than a label a manufacturer applies, so check Redtail's law guide and ask us if it is not clear.
What are 'oil brakes'?
Hydraulic disc brakes. It is the standard Chinese-English rendering, and it means the lever pushes fluid rather than pulling a cable — less hand force, no cable stretch to adjust out, and better feel when the pads get hot. Paired here with 203mm rotors, 23mm larger than the cheaper P5s'.
Does it come with fenders?
No. Eahora's component row reads 'Fenders: None', and the lighting row gives a front LED with a rear reflector rather than a powered tail light. On a bike aimed at commuting those are real omissions, and both are things we can quote you a part for — Eahora's own catalog includes fenders and a universal rear light.
Is the battery UL certified?
Eahora publishes no certificate, standard number or issuing laboratory for this model or any other. We searched all 162 of its product pages and all eight policy pages on 2026-08-24; the only certification statement anywhere is one FAQ sentence saying its batteries are 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'. We will not present that as a certification. If you want documentation before ordering, ask and we will request it from Eahora in writing.
What warranty applies, and who handles a claim?
Eahora's published terms: 24 months on the frame, 12 on the fork, motor and battery, 6 on the controller, 3 on the charger, display, tires, saddle and other parts. Its page also states a one-year claims deadline, which is the figure to plan around.
