The DL2000 is Eahora's single-speed moped: two 800W motors peaking at 2,000W combined, a 1,560Wh 52V 30Ah pack, 240mm hydraulic rotors, 20" × 4.5" fat tires, and no gears at all. Its published top speed is a flat 28 mph — at the class ceiling rather than above it, which makes it one of only eight bikes in Eahora's 26-model catalog in that position. No gears at all
Eahora specifies single-speed with a 44T chainring: no derailleur, no shifter, no cassette. That removes the three parts most likely to need adjustment on a bike that mostly runs on throttle, and it is an honest design choice for a moped-shaped machine. It also means pedalling is genuinely useful only in a narrow speed band.
Twenty-eight, flat
Eahora publishes 28 mph for both pedal assist and throttle — a single number with no bracketed second figure, sitting at the ceiling the three-class statutes use rather than above it. Of its 26 bikes, only eight are in that position, and this is the fastest-charging of them.
The biggest rotors Eahora fits
240mm × 3.0mm steel rotors with two-piston calipers, semi-metallic pads and motor cutoff — the same disc size as the 60-volt Romeo flagships, on a bike with 20-inch wheels. Smaller wheels mean the brake has less rotational inertia to fight, so a big rotor here is doing more per millimetre than it would on a 26.
Five and a half to six and a half hours
A 58.8V 4.5A quick charger refilling the 1,560Wh pack in 5.5–6.5 hours — the quickest full charge of any moped-style Eahora, because the pack is a third the size of the 60-volt Romeos' and the charger is proportionally no slower.
20 × 4.5 fat tires
The same 4.5-inch width Eahora fits to the Romeo II, at 28–33 psi, on a 20-inch rim. Wide and small gives a big contact patch and a low center of gravity — the right combination for a heavy single-speed that spends its life starting and stopping in traffic.

Green flags
- 52V × 30Ah = 1,560Wh, exactly as printed, and all 25 watt-hour claims across Eahora's catalog recompute correctly
- A flat 28 mph published top speed — no bracketed unlocked figure, and at rather than above the ceiling the three-class statutes use
- 240mm × 3.0mm rotors, the largest Eahora fits to anything, on a 164 lb bike with 20-inch wheels — a lot of leverage where it is needed
- The fastest full charge in the moped range: 5.5–6.5 hours from a 58.8V 4.5A quick charger
Red flags
- Single-speed, and Eahora's own row spells it 'Sigle speed no shifting'. With a 44T chainring and no gears there is one pedalling cadence that works; the rest of the time you are a passenger
- No pedal-assist range is published at all — only '40 - 50 miles w/o PAS'. Every other Eahora bike publishes both figures
- The motor rows disagree: power reads '2 x 800 Watt (peak 2000W)' and torque '2 x 65 Newton·meter', but motor type reads 'Rear hub motor, brushless' — singular and rear. The marketing band says 'Dual 800W High-Torque DC Motors'. We print dual
- Battery cycle life is ≥1,000 charges to 80% capacity, below the ≥1,200 Eahora publishes for most of its range
- The geometry block's rim-diameter row gives 24" or 57.5cm on a bike specified with 20" × 4.5" tires — a 26-inch-bike figure on a 20-inch bike
- The display is described only as 'Color LCD', with no size, no Bluetooth and no USB port specified, where most of the range gets a detailed 4-inch spec
Speed and the law — read this before you buy
Eahora publishes this bike's top speed as a flat 28 mph for both pedal assist and throttle, and states no class on this model's page. That figure sits at — not above — the 28 mph ceiling most US states use in their three-class definitions, which makes it one of the least ambiguous bikes in Eahora's catalog. It is still not a class designation, and one thing in particular is worth checking: many states cap throttle assistance at 20 mph separately from the pedal-assist ceiling, and this bike offers throttle to 28. Eahora's FAQ claims generally that its e-bikes 'belong to Class 3'; we do not repeat that as this bike's class. Read your state's rule in Redtail's law guide before you order, and ask us if it is not clear.

Eahora publishes a geometry block for this bike. Two rows need flagging: the rider-height range (5'7"–6'3") is narrower than the spec sheet's (5'7"–6'4"), and the rim-diameter figure is a 26-inch-bike number on a bike with 20-inch tires. Everything below is as published, with those problems marked.

How to read this spec sheet
Manufacturer pages contain marketing, and marketing sometimes disagrees with the spec table an inch below it. Rather than quietly pick numbers, here is every place Eahora's own material disagrees with itself for this model, and which figure we print:
- Motor count: Eahora's power row says '2 x 800 Watt (peak 2000W)', its torque row '2 x 65 Newton·meter', and its marketing band 'Dual 800W High-Torque DC Motors' — but its motor-type row says 'Rear hub motor, brushless', singular. Three statements to one, so we print dual motors.
- Range: Eahora publishes only a throttle-mode figure (40–50 miles) for this model. There is no pedal-assist range row at all — an absence we looked for, and notable on a bike whose single-speed drivetrain makes pedalling less useful anyway.
- Drivetrain: single-speed. Eahora's row reads 'Sigle speed no shifting, 44T chainring'; the typo is Eahora's and the substance is that there is no derailleur, shifter or freewheel.
- The geometry block gives 'Rim Diameter 24" or 57.5cm' while the tire row specifies 20" × 4.5". Buy parts against the tire row.
- Top speed is published as a flat 28 mph with no bracketed second figure.
- Battery: 52V × 30Ah = 1,560Wh, matching Eahora's printed figure. The arithmetic is ours.
- Battery cycle life here is ≥1,000 charges to 80% capacity, against the ≥1,200 Eahora publishes for most of its range.
- Warranty: Eahora's coverage table (published only as an image) gives 24 months on the frame; the same page states a one-year claims deadline. Both are Eahora's; we print both.

- Eahora's warranty page sets a 24-month frame period in its coverage table, then closes with 'Claims deadline: 1 year from purchase date.' The two statements are on the same page and are not reconciled anywhere on it. We print both and treat 12 months as the figure to plan around; if you need the frame claim in year two, tell us and we will put it to Eahora in writing before you order.
- Eahora's own storefront header advertises '1 Year Warranty', which matches the claims deadline rather than the 24-month frame row.

Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. For freight, the carrier may call to schedule and a signature may be required.
On delivery
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Bikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns accepted only on unopened, factory-sealed items requested within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. Once a box is opened or a bike is ridden, it is no longer eligible.
Once an eligible return arrives we take up to 5 business days to inspect it; approved refunds issue within 14 days of completed inspection, and your bank may take a further 2–15 business days to post it.
Order cancellations carry a 3% transaction fee, because card-processing fees are non-recoverable.
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and remote areas may incur extra charges or be excluded — contact us before ordering. Frequently asked questions
Single-speed — can I actually pedal it?
You can, in one narrow band of speed. Eahora specifies no derailleur, no shifter and no freewheel, with a 44T chainring: there is one gear, and it will feel right at roughly one cadence. Below that you are mashing, above it you are spinning uselessly. On a 164 lb moped-shaped bike that mostly runs on throttle, dropping the shifting hardware is a defensible choice — but go in knowing the pedals are for the law and for emergencies, not for exercise.
How far does it go?
Eahora publishes 40–50 miles on throttle and gives no pedal-assist figure at all for this model. That is unusual — every other bike in its catalog publishes both — and we looked for the missing row rather than assuming it was absent. Given the single-speed drivetrain, the throttle figure is probably the one that matters to you anyway. Plan around 40 miles.
Is it a Class 3 e-bike?
Eahora states no class on this model's page. What it does publish is a flat 28 mph, which sits at the ceiling the three-class statutes use rather than above it — one of only eight Eahora bikes in that position. That still is not a class designation: many states cap throttle assist at 20 mph separately, and this bike offers throttle to 28. Is it really dual-motor?

Why such big brake rotors on small wheels?
It is the right way round, actually. Eahora fits 240mm × 3.0mm rotors — the largest in its catalog, the same as on the 60-volt Romeo flagships — to a bike with 20-inch wheels. A smaller wheel gives the brake less rotational inertia to overcome and a shorter lever arm against it, so a big rotor on a small wheel is a genuinely strong combination on a 164 lb machine.
Is the battery UL certified?
Eahora publishes no certificate, standard number or issuing laboratory for this model or any other. We searched all 162 of its product pages and all eight policy pages on 2026-08-24; the only certification statement anywhere is one FAQ sentence saying its batteries are 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'. We will not present that as a certification. If you want documentation before ordering, ask and we will request it from Eahora in writing.
What warranty applies, and who handles a claim?
Eahora's published terms: 24 months on the frame, 12 on the fork, motor and battery, 6 on the controller, 3 on the charger, display, tires, saddle and other parts. Its page also states a one-year claims deadline, which is the figure to plan around.
