We quote the title and the table and name the gap between them. What is itemized — the Tektro Aries four-finger brakes, the dual-crown fork, the 450 lb rating — is the deepest published component sheet in the range, and it is what you are buying.

The banana seat is a bench, not a chair — no backrest-recline adjustment.

Soletri or Herotri — how do I choose?

By your hip flexor, honestly. The Soletri II's 17-inch step-thru with footrest boards is the easy-mount frame; the Herotri II's 24-inch step-over is the traditional diamond feel with a taller bar. Same price, same powertrain, same 5'2"–6'2" window, same warranty. If anyone else will ride it — a partner, a parent — the step-thru serves more bodies.

Can I really carry a passenger on the banana seat?

Mechanically, the spec supports short two-up hops: a 23.5-inch bench seat, footrests, and 450 lb of rated payload. Legally, passenger rules vary by state — some allow them only on seats designed for passengers, some set age rules — so check your state's law before making it a routine (our law guides on the Redtail journal cover this). And at 20 mph capped, treat two-up as a driveway-and-boardwalk pleasure, not a commute.

Is it actually full-suspension?

Here's exactly what Addmotor publishes: the title says 'Full-Suspension eTrike'; the component table details a dual-crown ADDSHOX front fork and does not itemize a rear shock. We won't resolve their title against their table for them — but if confirmed rear suspension travel is a requirement for you, the Freetan and Grandtan X publish theirs explicitly, and we'd steer you there or get a written answer from Addmotor first.

Why do the named components matter?

Three practical reasons: you can verify claims (Tektro Aries and Kenda GIGAS are real, checkable products with their own spec sheets), you can price repairs before you need them, and named parts are stocked parts — any bike shop can order a Shimano Altus derailleur or Tektro pads without a proprietary-parts scavenger hunt. A brochure-spec trike offers none of that certainty.

What's the range with the seat loaded?

Addmotor claims 85 miles — a PAS-1 estimate by their own policy, measured without a second rider aboard. Payload is the biggest unpublished range variable: loaded near its 450 lb rating, expect a substantial fraction of the headline, not the headline. For errand-scale rides, even a third of the claim clears a full day; the 960Wh pack recharges overnight.
