On a 66 lb bike with a 250 lb payload rating it is correctly sized — flat-city commuting doesn't spend watts, hills and cargo do. If your route climbs, the 750W Foldtan M-160 is the honest upgrade. Compare the M-160.
Addmotor prohibits delivery to New York City, including billing addresses, under Local Law 39 — printed in the E-43's own delivery table.

Free shipping on every electric bike within the contiguous United States (lower 48).
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Most e-bikes arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, depending on location.
Ships via trusted parcel and freight carriers — UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight for larger items — with tracking emailed at dispatch. Trikes ship large; an adult signature is required at delivery.
Delivery protection
Inspect your shipment at delivery. Damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported with photos within 48 hours; claims submitted after this window are not accepted.
Trikes with power, charging, or component issues are covered under the manufacturer warranty; Redtail coordinates repair or replacement remotely at no cost to the customer.
Returns
Addmotor's own return policy applies when you buy direct: 14 days, under 10 miles on the odometer, and a condition-based 10–30% restocking fee they set after inspection. How to read this spec sheet
Where Addmotor's own page prints more than one figure for the same spec, the table above carries the one we could verify twice, and this list names every such case and the figure we chose:
- Addmotor's stat strip prints 'Payload Capacity 250 LBS' while its technical table prints '250+50 LBS' — the table's rider-plus-rack split is the fuller figure and both are quoted.
- The 125-mile range figure is Addmotor's PAS-1 claim and, per its own warranty page, an estimate — plan around your assist level, not the headline.
- Addmotor's page claims UL certification for the battery in its technical table; no UL 2849 whole-system claim appears, and we print exactly what the page states.
