Every guide here is built the same way: specs pulled from manufacturer and supplier data, safety standards read straight from UL and CPSC sources, and laws taken from the state statutes themselves — each with the date it was checked. Nothing is copied from another blog, and nothing volatile ships undated.

The aim is the honest version of e-bike advice for US buyers: what a bike actually is, what the law actually says, and when the right answer is “don't buy.” If something here is wrong, I want to know — corrections go to mehran@redtailebikes.com, and verified fixes are published.
